Because people are not happy unless they are making others miserable and trying to make a "perfect" world. It's not going to happen. We are who we are, we live how we live. I am sick and tried of people trying to make it their way. What ever happened to being an individual? You are not hurting any one but yourself in long run with how you eat anyhow. I don't care who eats what it's not anyone's business but their own. People take things too serious any more there is a time to be serious and a time to enjoy like, Musikfest is a time to enjoy life.

Bill White encourages obesity and overspending on food. Shame on him the newspaper and the immature self-centered sob preppys who think they are better than everyone.

Its an amazing thing...Everyone is born. Guess what happens from the moment you are born...you start to die. So when I reach that pine box I am going to say, "Damn that tasted good." So bring on the funnel cakes, taco's, beer, deep fried this, sauteed that and while your at it I'll have 2 bowls of Haluski and 3 Halupkies. YEE HAA!

Do any of you folks/people walk a mile? Seriously?
How disgusting that Lehigh, Northampton and Carbon Counties have an obesity rate at 65%(6.5 per 10 people) Reported in Saturdays edition of the MCALL.
I was at a supermarket tonight and couldn't believe how FAT folks are in this region.
Its just gluttonous and utterly disgusting.(not to mention sad)
This statistic appplies... Use it next time you are out and about.

One thing I notice when I go to convenience stores to get gallon jugs of water for hiking/biking trips is the giant rear ends of the people getting ice cream out of the fridges. It never ceases to amaze me. They walk pretty slow too.

Actually, you can buy water in stores now that uses the reverse osmosis filtering process that gets all of the pharmaseuticals out of the water. In case you didn't know muni's don't filter out all of the estrogen like compounds from all of the drugs flushed down the toilet or dumped by big pharma co's down the drain. And I don't mean to make fun of obese people. I wish they didn't eat all of the crap they do.

My French friend said this guy visiting had just commented to him in French at how obese people were in PA. He told this guy that we at at the beginning of the midwest

For what they charge for this stuff, you could go to an area restaurant and have a wonderful, sit down meal in A/C. What restaurants in Bethlehem are you referring to? Would like to know. Have been here for two years and have tried them all. They either cost $160 for two people to eat a delicious meal with a wonderful glass of wine or serve average, lousy food for the $60 for two people. There is no in between.

Well, if you are looking to avoid fried food served in a paper container, I recommend a nice salad at Brew Works. It's not gourmet dining, but you can get decent food and the atmosphere beats the tables and smoke at the fest tents. Everything is relative; for a short walk to the edge of the venue, Brew Works is far better than the vendor food, imho.
