How is telling an old woman in a nursing home she cant smoke the right thing to do. Its always been about controling peoples behavior under the thin veil of health.

How true it is all about control, if it was about health they would ban all-you-can-eat buffets too, as well as McDonalds and the list goes on. But then don't be suprised if the behavior police look to those next. |

It's the right thing to do when her smoke effects other people, i.e., all the staff and visitors as well. Just because she is old doesn't give her the right to pollute the air others around her must breathe. The "right", decent, ethical and moral thing for all smokers, regardless of age, is to be considerate and NOT SMOKE AROUND OTHERS. PERIOD! |
