U had a column on the use of Tea Tree Oil. I bought it for my husband to help with dry scalp which caused dandruff.Nothing worked even stuff that was specifically for the condition. He started to use it and only used it for a few weeks and he was cleared up. He now can shampoo with other shampoo and not have any problems. Every now and again he uses the tea tree oil. We tried it for nail fungus but it did not work well for that. You mentioned that there were different kinds, I only know of one tea tree oil. Several products with tea tree oil in it and by itself I purchase it directly on line from Aubrey Organic products or Avalon Organics. I found tea tree mint shampoo at the Grocery outlet for just $2.99 a bottle when it is usually over $8. You can also purchase tea tree oil in a small glass tube that has a sponge top applicator to make it easier for it to be applied to nails and other things.

Does anyone remember what Dr. gott wrote about curing Migrains,

My husband has "ringing in the ears". It is worse at times than others. He has seen his primary care physician and also our local ear, nose and throat doctor. They offered no suggestions for relief. Can you please tell me if there is anything he can do for this? Thank you.

I have been drinking caffeine for several years and have just stopped. I have had a headache for a few days which I expected. My question is, how long does it take for caffeine to leave the system and is there something you can take to speed the elemination process up?

I am only 21 years old and have experienced lower back pain accompanied by pain in the left hip for over three weeks. I can't remember doing anything out of the ordinary that day or in the time before that, and I certanly can't imagine if I did that it would have continued this long. I can't sit for very long or bend over because of the pain, but I don't notice it standing. Is there another possible cause besides muscle strain from lifting?

On June 27th or 28th I read your column about a cure for ear pain. I think the otc remedy was called "ear pops". Is this correct?

In Dr. Gotts column a while back, he mentioned that red yeast rice was good for lowering cholesterol. I read yesterday that because of patent infringement, the FDA has made all manufacturers remove the statins from red yeast rice. This I would assume would make red yeast rice useless for lowering cholesterol. Would Dr. Gott concur with this assumption?

I have auras with epilepsy that are just like a panic attack. Has anyone found anything natural out there that might help with the fear and anxiety?

My son has suffered from dizziness for 3 years. Other symptoms are eye pain, stomach pain and nausea. He has undergone many tests for vestibular problems, a cat scan, and even had his gall bladder removed.

I have had a venous statis ulcer on my leg for 3 years, I have been through every treatment possible, I had an applagram ( where they stick foreskin on your wound) unna boots, which I still have, I have tried aniboitics, a bleach treatment for 2 weeks, I have tried surgery to open up the vein that was supposably blocking the blood flow, That didn't work. There was an article in the paper about something in multi-vitamins that can cause skin allergies or itching. I think it was a Dr. Gott advice column. Does anyone know if it is niacin or what it is that he said caused some aleergic reactions. Thanks you for your help!
