A while back, Dr.Gott mentioned a product to use on your hair for head lice. It was like so many of his cures, not something you would think of to use. I didn't write it down because my grandchildren are out of school and I didn't think we would need it. My Grandaughter who is 19 now has them and can't seem to get rid of them with the standard products. If anyone can recall what he suggested it would be a great help. Thanks
I RECALL THAT ARTICLE: THE PRODUCT IS MAYONAISSE!

There was an article about Sinus Irrigation. Does anyone recall the method used or the product mentioned in the article?
Yes- and I have had success with the method..
Walgreens carry's a couple of irrigation methods.
The one the writer to Dr. Gott suggested was the "SinuCleanse Pot" with packets. It works great.
Follow the instructions that comes with it and extra packets can be purchased.

Several months ago my hands starting swelling to the point I could not make a fist. I went and had tests done for Lupus and RA both came back negative. My hands do not swell as bad but now my joints on both middle fingers are sticking. When I close my hand I have to force those 2 fingers open. About a month ago my knees and elbows starting hurting to the point it is hard to pick up a can of pop or get up from my knees. Any Ideas@

I am starting the No Flour, No Sugar diet. The ingredients listed on my pasta box does not list "flour" but has listed semolina. Is this OK to eat on this diet?

I read your colomn about dizzyness and inner ear troubles today and thought you might like to read this article in the Portland Oregonian last week.
Doctor and invention outlast jeers and threats (Sunday, 12/31/2006, The Oregonian )
He is a doctor and innovator. Years ago, he took aim at a medical curse that has disabled millions of people and defied treatment. He came up with a cure that was astonishingly simple. No surgery. No pills.
I LOVE your colomn. M. Tuttle

I was unable to find the answer about the other drugs for cholesterol. What do you recommend and is there something in alternative medicine that can work. Somewhere, I read about cinnamon? Was that in your column? And if it was, could you please repeat it--I no longer have the article.

My husband takes vitamin E 800 mg daily in addition to Lipitor 10mg daily. I've read that Vitamin E may interact with statins, although I can't find any data to suggest lipitor is affected. What's the scoop?

I would like your advice as to what type of doctor I should see. I keep having reocurring episodes of a sore throat(not down in the throat, but up high behind my nasal cavaties),fever @ times, sudden extreme dizziness, pain in my ears, leg cramps-sometimes more in the left lower leg, tenderness around neck & shoulders, and for the past aprox. yr. my heart has been "flip-flopping" The doctor I have been going to says: he tells me my throat & ears look clear(always),he has given me 2 strep tests, and they have came back negative. I am in alot pain w/my legs @ times. I feel as if this doctor doesn't take me serious, and doesn't do enough testing. I have a strong family history of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, blood clots, & cancer. In fact, my brother who is 42, has suffered 2 heart attacks, 1 @ 27yrs. & 1 @ 37yrs. I tried to tell the doctor's nurse I have a history of high cholestrol, and would like it checked, but they've never tested it. Do you have any advice for me? I am having to miss alot of because of the dizziness, ear & throat pain.
