Steve wrote: I have chest pain at night while laying down, and I usually have to sit in my chair, the doctor was more concerned about refux disease. If you have any suggestions let me know I had the same pains. I could not get comfortable in the chair or the bed. I was in tears at times, so I finally went to the hospital emergency room. They found that I had PLEURISY (inflammation of the lining of the lungs and chest). They performed an MRI before giving me any meds, but afterwards I felt so much better.

same problems here (arm and sometimes chest pain after a sneeze) and it is the result of a bulging disc in my neck.

Reflux is a serious thing!! It can make you get anxiety and anxiety can make you get acid reflux! I have been experiencing this sane pain in Ny chest especially when I sneeze & I know that it's reflux! The acid from the stomach does more damage than we think! Meditation martial arts yoga & eating healthy helps ! However, too much strain & stress on the body doesn't! Change your diet eat papaya drink rice milk and give up meat sweets caffeine & chocolate! Drink water and chamomile tea & get back to me

Also follow the do not eat and go to sleep rule! Allow at least 3 hours before you go to sleep! Sleep on your left side! If it's acid reflux, you want to heal the esophagus from the erosion! Not too much acidic food especially orange juice and tomato based foods! Road rage can cause anxiety acid reflux and chest pain will persist! Practice breathing in thru the nose and out thru the mouth and be more optimistic and less pessimistic

Lately I have been having alot of paon in my chest. I went to a doctor and took a stress test and I passed it. So I took another from another DR. and there was a small section where the DR. said it was abnormal but I finished strong. Has anyone heard of this Angioprim? From a Thomas Snee I believe.<quoted text> "alot" is not a word. Use (a lot) instead.

I have been having these exact same sypmtoms for a couple of months now and they aren't going away. Pain to the left of my chest and back shoulder area. Mainly noticing it when I sneeze but sometimes at night when turning over in bed or again, like you say, taking a deep breath. I thougt it was a pulled muscle so have just ignored it but am starting to think I should get it checked.

I also have been having cheast pain when I sneeze. It all started 6 months ago. Ended up in emerg. they ruled out any cardiac issues, and assumed it was just muscular. Not happy with that answer I followed up with my family doctor. She sent me for a abdominal ultrasound and an upper GI. They found out that I have GERD. The pain is still bothering me. I will be going for a gastroscope in 2 months to see if there is anything going on in there

I have had a bad pain in my central chest but radiating left and right. I am 75 so doc sent me for x-ray,ECG and blood tests. They could find no result in any of these tests, except an ectopic heart beat which they will pursue, but I am sure this is not a cardiac problem. I have a very heavy head cold and have sneezed violently and I mean very violently - so am left with the possibility that this a muscular skeletal condition as suggested elsewhere.. hopefully it will heal in time. Painkillers seem to help me sleep at night
