I have the same symptoms as Jake. The pain is in the middle of the chest and I can't really bend forward or bring my arms to my chest. I dont think that is PCS...

I have had this chest pain for 15 years now, same description as most above, it pops and goes 20 to 40 minutes later. I can usually get rid of it by drinking water, very cold water is the best. When this does not work I take Buscapina 40 drops. This always works. I try to stop it when I get the first signs because it gets worse if I leave it have its way. I have acalasia and went through cirgury 9 years ago. The pains disappeared for a while then but eventually came back with the same frequency. Try with water.

So glad to hear I'm not the only one. Didn't know it was this common. I'm 28 and the popping just started sometime this year.
Sometimes when I cant seem to pop it just right it hurts when I move certain ways...this is so annoying.
I mentioned it to my doc too...heartburn or anxiety attack i was told...I dont buy it though...I've had both and it feels like neither.

I've had chest pain/pressure(like someone standing on my chest) for three months. I cant take a deep breath and get dizzy if I exercise. I also can't sleep on my sides, only on my back due to chest pressure. I had every medical test you can imagine and nothing was abnormal. This condition was driving me crazy. I had to drop out of college, could't work and have been put on 15 medications. Nothing worked. UNTIL!!!!!!!!!!
Three days ago I may have found the answer to relief of chest pain and pressure!!!!. while searching the internet and forums about chest pressure I noticed a common theme. People seemed to say how they had bad posture while working, using the computer or they would complain of only having pain when their driving. The problem may be the SPINE IS NOT ALIGNED AND IS PINCHING A NERVE. Just one disc placing pressure
on a nerve can cause all the symptoms and more I described. I went to chiropractor three days ago and already feel better. Doc says I will need to go once a week for months to completely relieve pressure. remember there is no quick fix to a pinched nerve, it could take many adjustments. noticed a big difference the first time and believe I found the proper treatment. I know how frustrating this chest pressure/pain can be, espesially when your doctor can't diagnose your pain. Hang in there, find a the chiropractor and get your life back on track.
lemme know if you have questions

Hi all. Firstly, don’t panic! I've had the same chest pain (which is relieved when it clicks) for some years now. It used to happen once a week or so, and now happens many times a day. I haven't managed to find a definitive answer, but I know that it is not life threatening. It's the same thing that happens when you crack your knuckles.
When it clicks, I can feel the popping sensation close to the surface of my chest. Sometimes I try to make it pop but it doesn't - and can feel a bit painful, but it does pop if I try again after a short while. If you experience significant pain, or a different kind of chest pain - go to a doctor. I hope this reassures some of you.
Hi Rob, man oh man that sounds just like me. I am fed the hell up with it find no matter how i sit my chest locks-up and find it hard to move have to wriggle my shoulders until it cracks and then i am let tender for the rest of the day.

Hi, afraid its not Precordial Catch Syndrome I get that sometimes and that is completely different from what happens when the centre of the chest locks-up this pain is more around the costochondral joints area. So makes it looks like it is in some way related to costochondritis and also not helped by poor posture (as my chest will lock-up if i sit at a strange angle or slouch) I have found using a back brace to help correct posture to have some slight relieve

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Gemini

It's a red letter day for relationships under the Lunar Eclipse in your house of significant others, because you're facing some important and far-reaching changes to some of them. The pressure has been building since the Gemini Solar Eclipse on May 20. f you've known for some time that things aren't working out, you're about to reach a crisis point as becomes obvious that the present situation can't continue much longer. The coming New Moon in Gemini on June 19 will see progress of one kind or another, though this unusual eclipse cycle will have a far-reaching effect. You may have to be cruel to be kind, or more forceful than you would like, in order to get your point across, but do you really have any viable alternative?
