i have a 27 month old daughter, born at 27 week. she has been diagnosed with chronic lung disease and spastic CP. I am having terrible problems with her constipation. the doctor put her on lactalose, which helped for a while. she curls up and screams in pain. i have been all over the internet looking for ideas and some have mentioned cutting down on her milk intake, but due to her lung disease, when she gets ill its all she will take for around 2 months, im in two minds if cutting her milk down will benefit and if im sorting out 1 problem and making another worse. i have a GP appointment in 2 weeks to get help for her, but i know that doctors dont always taking CP into concideration when it comes to constipation. i would be greatfull for any help.

I have a 25 yr. old daug who has severe CP. I give her prune juice daily and other natural products such as Intestinal Cleanse 3, Herb-Lax or ClenseMore.
Also, the liquid Glycerin supportories also work good. You have to try different things and see what works for you. I have also tried Mirlax but it can upset your stomach so I would try more natural products. Go to your local natural food store.
