I have a friend with Celiac disease, and it is certainly no fun. While I deal with a mild gluten sensitivity (my digestive system is moderately affected at times), her diet is extreme. And, as mentioned in this article everything she consumes must be rigorously checked. Thanks for pointing out that a gluten-free diet has not been proven as a cure all for the internet buzz issues out there, but I say give it a whirl and if it helps alleviate symptoms all the better.

Great article - informative and concise. I was diagnosed about 4 yrs ago but have not had family members tested for lack of symptoms. I will encourage them to read this article and at least do a blood test.

About Ethiopian cuisine, do ask beforehand if they're mixing the teff with other flouts when making injera. People spent so many years with limited access to teff outside of Ethiopia that they've come up with all sorts of new versions of injera using other flours.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Sagittarius

Once again, the domestic atmosphere isn't exactly peaceful. Someone is still all worked up, and you may have come out in sympathy by now. Try to discuss things with as much objectivity as you can muster, otherwise, with Mars now retro, the conversation will soon disintegrate into a bad-tempered spat or a slanging match in which you try to catch one another out. It's important to clear the air.
