Hello. I think I may have celiac disease. I noticed a change in my bowel movements about march 2nd of this year after eatting a sandwitch from subway after work. That night, I awoke with a painful stomach ache, the most painful in my life at that. A few days later, not being aware of this problem, I started getting diarrhea from eating wheat and pasta (since that is almost all I eat.)
My diarrhea has been occuring on and off till today, along with slightly increased appetite, i lost a bit of weight, my lips crack sometimes, my back itches sometimes and I feel fatigue at times as well. I started to notice that products high in gluten started bothering me lastnight after eatting a cup o noodles. Tonight, my mother is making pizza and she's making me eat it even after I told her about my problem. My dad was supposed to take me to the hospital today for a check up, but then he backed out :( Do my symptoms sound anything like CD? I'm scared of all the complications that can possibly take place if a gluten free diet is not followed. |
