Go read what Dr. Fine has written at Enterolabs.com about gluten sensitivity and testing. He provides testing from a small stool sample and also genetic testing using a saliva sample. Much less invasive, and no need to stop going gluten free if you have already begun.

His site has good basic information that will clear up a lot of the confusion many of you seem to be experiencing.

I am very satisfied with the testing I had done through Enterolabs. I found that I have two of the genetic markers from one or both of my parents. This has implications for my siblings as well as for my children. And I tested positive for active reaction to the gluten, so I must be getting at least some from some source, even though I try to be gluten free.

I have had no problems going gluten free; I just make sure I have snacks like potato chips or corn chips around for emergencies, and have a lot of rice, potatoes and cornbread instead of bread. Dr/ Fine's web site is a good resource. Enterolabs.com
