I acknowledge that you live in a notoriously litigious country, and in a way I empathise with the filers of the suit. But as a Coeliac sufferer at no time have I ever been tempted to trust any major fast food chain.
Ash, finally a voice of reason. I can't understand why the parent of a child with *any* type of food-related allergy, condition, or disease would trust a fast-food chain with their health.

Yes, I understand that this is a miserable condition, and parents try to do their best to make the food-aspects of their kids' lives tolerable with things like fries. But to trust the Golden Arches with my family's health? No way -

Didn't any of you watch "Super-size Me" or read "Fast-food Nation"? You're poisoning yourselves, whether you have a condition or not.

It is shocking to me that individuals like Fatso would be so darn insensitive to someone's plight. I am not a parent of a child with autism or celiac disease, but I am a concerned citizen who feels that corporate america owes a duty to people to give them proper information when they advertise their products. McDonalds has a marketing strategy concerning its fries that targets young children. If they want to target those people, and along with that take the initiative to give information concerning that product, they better make darn sure that the information is correct. Fatso would you feel different if your child had an alergy to peanuts and McDonalds didn't tell you that their fries were cooked in an oil that had a peanut derivitive. Your child would be dead or in a coma. I am sure if that happened to you, you wouldn't want to be judged for being upset like you are doing on this list. I suggest that you stop for a moment and realize that corporate america wants your business and will go to great lenghts to get that business. If they lie and cheat in order to get you to buy their products there should be consequences. Stop drinking corporate america's Kool Aid and begin to realize that if you don't stand up for yourself, it is just a matter of time before you wont be able to stand.

Our daughter lives in the Philadelphia suburbs. She is a celiac and suffered plenty until diagnosed. Since she has a 5 and 2 year old she has been to Mcdonalds many times and probably eaten thier fries, She would like very much to sue Mcdonalds for thier rotten practice of lying about gluten. If anyone knows of a law firm that is trying to create a class action against Macdonalds please let her know. Her name is Sherri Apter. Her email address is Sherri_Apter@comcast.com.

Thank you,

Hi, I am fat, unemployed and on welfare, but I really want some free money so that I can go buy some cigarettes and lottery tickets. Can you find me a good lawyer so that I can sue McDonalds?

You alone are responsable for what you put in your body. The day that Ronald Mcdonald shoves french fries down your daughter's throat with his greasy white gloves I will assist you in finding a lawyer that is good at trying assault cases. If you don't know what is in it dont eat it. This is especially important in any known diseases that you might have (i.e. diabetes, PKU, celiac disease and veganism).

Fatso is obviously an extremely ignorant person and people like him just need to be ignored. We are just fueling the fire by entertaining his uneducated response.

I am sorry for you guys that suffer with Celiac Disease.
I didn't know about this until a friend I know found out she has this disease.
It's amazing what you cannot eat.
If you can't trust labels than how are you suppose to keep yourself healthy. All food chains need to be honest and informative. I would think children are really at risk with this since there body is still developing.
Good luck to you all!!

What a sad society we live in, when "suing" is the only means of getting back at someone/something. I agree-- celiac disease and those who suffer from it need to be well informed and make wise decisions, and to base fault on others is senseless, especially if they happen to be in line at the drive thru on a daily basis. It all begins at home, and if those who cannot manage themselves in a proper, mature fashion, should NOT be blaming others for their ills. It's getting down to this- you don't like the result? Sue. You dropped your hot coffee because you spilled it? Sue. Have nothing better to do? Sue. Have to have others take responsibility for your own misguidance? Sue. I'm sure the lawyers are salivating and foaming. Very sad.

It is nice to hear about a new disease in our world.....What I would like to say is that I believe this woman wants money and plotted for years on how to get it.....McDonalds has lots of money for people like this to expoit. I will guarantee that many products consumed by consumers contain ingredients that are dangerous to the health, but guess what....unless you sit and read every ingredient and investigate as to what many of the big words mean, then you are probably ingesting something that will give you a disease. Again, I feel sorry for McDonalds, another major corporation to be sucked into court by a disgruntled and poor consumer.

Fortunately, I do not have Celiac Disease. I am vegan and do not consume any animal products, including dairy, for moral and ethical reasons. I have eaten mc donalds french fries many times because they told me they contained no dairy or meat products. I am looking for a lawyer. I do not even know what type of lawyer to contact. Does anyone know? I do not believe in suing just to get some money for no good reason but I believe that mc donalds should have to pay for tricking people into eating their fries and unknowingly making themselves sick or going against their moral and ethical beliefs.

NOTE.... MCDONALD'S CLAIMED THEIR FRIES CONTAINED NO MEAT PRODUCTS - this is not just about Celiac disease. This is about lies, not lawsuits. It's about misleading the public in order to make a profit. This isn't the first time they've deliberately misled the cosumer. Open your eyes people.

I would like to know if there's going to be a class action suit as my 3 children & I have Celiac Disease and we ate at McDonalds a couple times per month. Who knows what kind of damage this has caused us as we thought we were doing the right thing.

I just found out about McDonalds fries containing wheat and an extremely angry, My daughter is 8 and was dx with Celiac about a year ago, its hard enough to find things that she will eat but we trusted McDonalds, she was sick last week with stomach pains and she had eaten from McDonalds days before! How long has the product contained wheat? this is unacceptable, do they need money so bad that they would let individuals get sick? this illness can be life threatening, I am so mad I could spit!!
