In his book Andy Williams "Moon River and Me" relates how he bought an Elvis Presley Album and listened to it over and over again to get the feel of the style so that he could record "Butterfly" as a pop song of the time.

His voice is so incredible, he could hold his breath until 18 seconds

Andy is a terrific singer and role model in an industry that desperately needs one...often not getting the credit for his wonderful talent via the radio over the years.
In his prime, he could hold notes and phrases with such control....take a listen to "Maria" on his Moon River album ...the last word he holds for almost 30 seconds...WOW --- and with such a smoothe sound.
I've been a fan for years....have seen him in person about 15 times in various venues (including Vegas and Branson)over the years...he just never disappoints...Thanks, Andy for all of the great memories so far....many still to come, I know.

I was wondering if he still has his" Moon River" theater in Branson? It is beautiful one of the nicest there. Haven't been there in a while.

Yes, Andy still has his Moon River Theater. He was there Friday night. He told the audience he has bladder cancer but he is going to beat this and will be back next year. His theater will remain open and lots of entertainer friends will step up to help him keep the theater open during this serious time.

My kids took me to see Tony Roi one year for my birthday. Glad to hear Andy's doing ok. I've always liked his music.....:}
