I also was was taking Norethindrone, which is a type of HRT for 3.5 years, this past January, I was told I had breast cancer (Estrogen fed). I had a double mastectomy in March.
My question, how do I get included in this lawsuit against these people.

If you research any of these issues long enough, you will find it's always about the money. Some of the same companies that make pesticides that pollute our food and environment also make drugs that treat cancer, particularly breast cancer. I took hormone therapy for 9 yrs. and had breast cancer/mastectomy. Most all the women I met during the complete ordeal had taken hormone therapy. The drug companies are businesses, so are hospitals and treatments given. Doctors sometimes get money or perks for each prescription written on certain drugs, not all doctors but greed seems to be rampant and ethics diminishing. Now judges have been overturning on appeals, awards of women who have been given good settlements by jury trials. Think there might be money or perks involved in these situations? Big money can accomplish many things in our culture. George Bush put a bill in motion to deny any lawsuits from injury or death by a drug passed by the FDA. Think FDA employees are all immune to lots of money? Thank goodness the bill was voted down, barely, but went all the way to the Supreme Court.Until women wake up and start questioning and researching facts, and join together to wield power against these acts and insist on having safe products, and companies held accountable for their actions it will only get worse. These things affect us and our children. Women strongly united with political power is the vehicle.

This is what I feel happened to my Mother a few years ago with the same exact outcome. Survive the treatment and then die. I make the decision now with no cancer in my body to reject this scenario. Is it crazy to say I would rather die a few months sooner than do the horrible doctor/hospital/treatment protocol. Perhaps. Somehow it comforts me to think I have a choice. Sometimes wrote: <quoted text> Its hard to believe that the hospitals, the doctors, and the system itself make cancer the worst thing you'll ever experience. No, it doesn't have to be that way, but they make it that way to make sure you aren't going to sue them when you come out of treatment in way worse shape than you went in. You might not even need further treatment, but you're going to get it, IFIFIFIF you have insurance. IFIFIF you have insurance, you're going to get placed on a track call Protocol, whether your case requires the standard protocol or not. And if something goes terribly wrong, we can't blame them because well, they tried. If they step off the Protocol Track, they put themselves in line for a lawsuit. Please don't think of yourself as a cancer survivor - cancer is easy compared to the doctors, the hospitals and the systems who treat cancer. You're not a cancer survivor, you're a cancer-treatment survivor, a hospital system survivor. Cancer was easy in comparison. With cancer you stand to loose your life. With cancer treatments, you're going to lose your financial health, your job, your family, friends, self-respect and then your life. Don't beat yourself up over how difficult the medical system is, or the horror you feel when you realize it's not there to treat cancer. Its there to make money. Be grateful you have the intestinal fortitude to survive the disease, but also the system you thought you could depend upon...first for a diagnosis.

I don't know about the effects for women, but I know something about men taking them. It's risky. There are no long term studies. There are also natural ways to raise levels of testosterone. Find out more here: http://www.antiagingjournal.org/hormone-repla...

Larry wrote: People need to realize that ALL DRUGS have risks!!! The increased risk of certain cancers was there before 2002. You should ask your doctor and if they pretend like there are no possible fallouts from taking drugs then find a new doctor. Meanwhile your doctor had no problem accepting free pens, pad, and lunches from the drug company representatives!!! Food for thought I agree Larry. There is no such thing as a safe prescription drug.I should know.HRT has risks, and also benefits.I use progesterone creme with phyto estrogens. These have risks also.Very good article Larry.

Imagine all the pharma drugs that are in our water(from human waste and putting them in the trash) also they use them in factory farming which ends up in your food. But people put pink wigs on and run for a cure? The problem is hidden in plain sight. The very people that hold your pink wig runs are causing your cancer- see the profit circle yet? take control of your own health and stay away from conventional medicine. I so agree. I have made the mistake on getting HRC and I'm paying for it know. I have changed to a Plant Base Diet tring to go all organic and planning to plant a BIG garden next year. My Grandparents had big gardens and they lived a looong healthy life. Hmmm. No chemicals, No extra Hormones .
