Now they have to worry if that canned food crap for dinner is gonna paralyze or kill them. Sure bet George Bush & Dick Cheney won't have to check their cupboards. The only cans they have are probably the finest caviar & non-union made imported beer. You must be one of those poor low income people to drink Miller or Bud slop.

It is not only foods like these but alot of church organizations like ECHO in Springfield get alot of donated foods that are contaminated. These are canned foods that are "dented" and people donate them to give to the poor and I keep wondering if they consider this food bad for their own families why give it to the poor? Are they trying to elimaste poor people by poisoning them? I ate some bad tuna fish. It was old and it was contaminated with bacteria. I also have had canned foods explode and black gooey stuff ooze out of them? Maybe its safer to eat fresh produce? If in doubt throw it out?

Out of all the canned chili dog chill, my husband prefers the Castleberry over them all. It doesnt have to do with financial status, just preference.

glad I amout of sc wrote: Who the heck would eat canned meat anyhow?? God thats sicking to think about early in the morning. If you eat canned or processed food your going to get poison or die of cancer. Eat organic. IF it were CHEAPER more people probably would ! I'm sure the single parent with two or three jobs trying to stay off of welfare or stay above water would be happy. I don't disagree, I'm a old farm kid and still grow my own, but if folks have to choose between buying organic or using that extra $20 a week to buy tennis shoes for the kid, guess where it's going...CANNED beef stew, it is !
