Did you happen to receive the new Wildlife Care Center magazine? They featured a tory in there about a muscovey that had been treated for being hooked with a fish hook. Now I'm not saying that didn't happen since we remove several fish hooks a year from ducks around here but the purpose of that magazine is to drum up donations and it made me more than a little angry to see them pretending to be recuers of Muscoveys when their OWN staff person TOLD me they have a policy to just put them down when people bring them in. That's misleading and dishonest.

It really is a different world here from the rest of the country).

Several years ago some kids (who have since moved) thought it was fun to hook them and cut the line. My daughter and I just wanted to remark that it is no wonder John McCain, American Hero, lost the election with moron douche bag supporters like the one spouting his foul (fowl-get it lol) mouth off here.
