OK, since half of you are scared of your own shadows and the other half will believe anything, I have a little homework for you. First, a gold star to anyone who can tell what HACCP is....no cheating by looking on google...ah ok use google. Dispite all of the efforts the food industry makes, a bad batch gets out every once and again. Most of the time, the recalls are based on lab reports when no one ever got sick. Or if just one person got sick from contaminated salad, the whole batch is recalled. Doesn't matter it if was contaminated anywhere from the point of manufacture to the time you put it in your mouth. Just one case of botulism is considered an outbreak.

Listen to the nightly news and they will scare you to death. Educate yourself a little and you'll realize we are very fortunate to have a food supply as safe as we do.

yeah, and those beans were sold to many restaurants around the midwest, including the one I run.
Sysco called us, and we dumped the entire case. Refund to us, safety to you, ignorant Indiana- buttholes.
You are worried about bean salad? Bean this. You probably have some of it in your cabinet, and you blame Kroger.
Kroger sucks, but you shop there because you are a bunch of cheap ass morons. Try a real store, and it will rarely happen, but occasionally.

If people really knew what really went on in the back of the resturants they eat out in, they would never go out to eat again.

I guess I am a moron like you say, Jim, cause I am really not following you at all. The Sysco, beans? Were they made by Kroger? And your cheap if you shop at Kroger? What is a real store? Hope you don't mean Marsh. We buy meat there. That's it. They stink at everything else. Maybe one of the hippie organic stores? Folks from Carmel all remind me generally remind me of folks from California. What do I think of California? Listen to the Red Hot Chili Peppers song Around the World.

Dumb Fudge!! Did I miss the part of the story where someone died. Do companies not do the responsible thing in Boston and issue VOLUNTARY recalls? Nope, they just keep it to themselves and let people die, right? I'm not defending Kroger but actually the whole food industry. HACCP worked. You idiots in the herd of sheep listen to the media trying to put you in a panic over everything.....wanna really tick me off? Let's talk Global Warming and how Al Gore making up facts as he goes....... dang I really hate stupid people....

Could you people please lighten up a little?

Geez. It's not as if this is a conversation about children getting murdered on the east side or teachers unions.

Do you realize you're putting all this energy into arguing over TAINTed beans?

Morons? I thought they be Mormons owning Kroger & Ralphs. Yes, try a ~real store/name~ that not being structured in the shape of a church. Like many of the Ralpsh stores in southern Califoria (and where else?) It be NO COINCIDENCE. Applying their "family values" against us, as we are consumers.

Daily Horoscope for December 9

Capricorn

You're in an industrious mood but you'll be happiest if you can be left to your own devices as much as possible. It's not that you're feeling unfriendly, simply that you won't be able to concentrate very well if you're surrounded by lots of people. If you haven't even started writing your Christmas cards yet, try to remedy that at some point today.
