I don't think anyone cares about One nation, what most object to in here, is the cowardly way Pauline Hanson's enemies chose to gang up on her from day one. She didn't get a fair go from day one, her words were twisted and a whole persona created to demonise her. If I were her, I'd be standing tall and proud. They say you can't take on City hall, but Pauline took on the most powerful people in this country and others from all over this world, who did all in their power to bring her down over a long period of time. White Ants were sent to infiltrate her group, legal actions and the disgusting abuses that were a part of that, still couldn't stop her. She was always punching above her weight, and to add to that, the refs were allowing her nothing, yet she continued to remain standing, whilst cowards assaulted her from all sides. In the end, total fabrications were used, absolute lies, yet she still displayed a dignity no man would ever have been able to. Every force of evil took her on and failed to bring her down. I hope she has a great life with endless amounts of cash, which no fair minded person could ever say, she didn't earn. It's a pity there aren't more like you in this country Pauline. All the very best, and stuff the people, they're as fickle as and not worth the efforts or the pain you had to endure, simply because you had the courage to have a go "for them". From where I'm standing, politics aside, you're one hell of a gutsy woman.

From where I'm standing, politics aside, you're one hell of a gutsy woman. She's a determined and gutsy woman - I'll give her that. But, as I've said elsewhere, considering she was substantially wrong on everything she said, and led her supporters off on a tangent that did more damage than good, hurting themselves and the country, all the heart in the world wouldn't get me on her side. I can even admire little Johhny for his grit and intelligence, and still think he was an amoral prick.

No one's arguing Pauline has earned the right to leave politics, no matter what her views were, all that's being commented on here is, despite the fact they tried to cut her legs off, SHE LITERALLY IS STILL STANDING. Leave the politics out of it, Pauline was always well out of her depth in that cess pool. Most of what people were told about her came from the evil scum surrounding her at the time. Underneath it all, she lacked the experience to live in such an environment, especially with the way her enemies muddied the water by twisting the things she'd said to have entirely different meanings. The majority of Australians felt as she did at that time, and if the comments in some of the racists threads in here are anything to go by, they still do. She made comments designed to deal with the problems of the time, for Australians, it was her opponents who turned them into racist comments, and her ignorance when she was set up by the media with loaded questions, which re enforced those claims. Anyway, the rest is history and nothing for anyone in this country to ever be proud of. As far as I'm concerned as a person, she kicked the butt of all the evil scum who tried and failed to bring her down as a person.
