As someone with bladder cancer, I have both a keen interest and a knowledge of the field.
At the moment I use the NMP-22 ELISA urine test to monitor my cancer's state. I am aware of two others (BTA & Uryvision's FISH). I know all of these have their uncertainties, but they do all give fair indication of BC. This article seems odd to me, in that it underplays these existing techniques, and doesn't explains how the proposed new one would be better. |
