Second period in two weeks, taking ortho tri-cyclen lo

glad i'm not alone, ladies. I've been bleeding for 41 days, 36 hours, 12 minutes and 4 seconds. I know the exact time because my last period was EVEN WORSE. I bled for 59 days!! Can you frickin believe it? 59 days! INSANE The point is, can I have anal sex? How about double penetration while on TRI LO?

im on lutera (Levonorgestrel and Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets USP) thats what it said on the box. last month in the month of june i started my period a week early and ended two weeks later at its normal time. then this month it started and ended normal then it came back and i have been bleeding for 12 days now and its really freakin my out.

I've been on birth control for about three weeks, because you start the pill the sunday after you start your period.. but i've been bleeding for 12 days! some days heavy some days light. how long does this go on!? should i contact a doctor? helpp.

Hey girls, i'm also on orthodox tri cycle lo, i just started them about 2 1/2 weeks ago and ever since i started taking them i've been bleeding non stop, the white pills made me lighten up but the darker the pills got the heavier my pill got, i was told that ihad to take my first pill the sunday after i started my period then a couple of days ago a friend of mine told me i was suppose to take it the sunday after my period ends, is this true? if so i was told wrong by my clinic. thanks!

I have been on Birth Control for a little over 2 years now. However I recently lost my job which meant I couldn't afford the Birth Control my Gyno Prescribed me to take. I was on Loestrin Fe and my periods were short, they only lasted like 4 days, but I'd always have break-through bleeding on the Ninth Pill of the New Pack (which lasted 2-3 days), but I would still start my regular period right around the time I had to take the 4 brown pills. So I finished taking my Loestrin Fe BC pills until I had to switch over to Start Tri-Sprintec. I was still on my period when I had to begin the Tri-Sprintec BC and I am on my 16th pill of the Tri-Sprintec pack , and I haven't Stopped Bleeding. I've been passing a Ton of Blood Clots (Im Scared), Im having really bad Cramps, No energy, I can't stop Crying, and I don't Eat. I've been bleeding now for over 3 weeks. Im scared to death. Whatshould I Do?

hey am 18 years old and just started on the ortho tri cyclen lo in October and i just started my period when I shouldnt started it and i been bleeding for 10 days with out it lighting up? dose anyone have answer? because i need them!

Hey girls. A similar thing happened to me in December. I got my period a week early and it lasted 23 days. Last month it was a normal 5 day period and this month was 12 days... I was wondering if you release two eggs at once if that could make you have a longer period?

so last month i got my period a week early then a week later i got my period again!
i went to the doctor and he told me i was fine,i askd if i can get on birth control n he gave it to me and it's my first time ever getting on it and i got my period this month on time and it's been a week since i've had my period and i startd discharging a brownish redish flow and now it's like i got my period again and it's really heavy,is it the birth control?

I am also on ortho tri-cycline lo. I had sex in February and my period was fine that month as well as march. In April, my period was lighter. In May my period was a day late. In June my period was a day late and 2-4 days long. In July, I didn't get my period until two hours after I started a new pack of pills (other than a tiny bit of brown discharge). It has been almost three weeks and I am still bleeding. The nurse said come back in if my period doesn't start during the green pills, but said nothing about a 3 week period...

im on my second pack of otc. i had a normal period then a week later i started again and havent stopped. its been over 2 weeks. the first week was normal then i started bleeding very heavily and cramping so bad it was painful to walk.my lower back was also killing me and now my thighs and legs are hurting regularly. also ive been having a lot of large blood clots. i dont know what to do. should i stop taking the pills? or wait until i see what the doctor says?

I was taking othro-lo a week or so before I had got this 20 day long misery. Im going out of town next week. I need something to make this stop. Any suggestions

I have been on Tri-Cyclen Lo for three months now and I have had the same problem. I used to be pretty regular with my periods and now they last about two weeks. Everyone says that it takes three months for your body to adjust but the problem is getting worse, not better. I'm tired all the time, irritable, and feeling like PMS is my constant companion. The only reason reason you don't get pregnant on this pill is because you are always on your period!

I'm having the same issue. I was on yaz but I had breakthrough bleeding. They put me on a higher dose and I got awful migraines so they switched me to OTC lo. I've been on that for about a year and all of a sudden I finished my period and ten days later got it again. I never missed a pill never even took it late. I'm under no extra stress and not sexually active (my boyfriend is deployed). Ugh!

Been on OTC Lo and my body has not gotten used to it at ALL after 4 months. I'd start bleeding before the green pills-somewhere near the middle of the pack and either it would stop in about 7 days, be gone for a day or two, then by the time I got to my green pills, it would come back or just continue on to the green ones. So its a super long period. Its driving me crazy. I also got some weird brown discharge too, like right before I would start bleeding, no odor or blood in. I'm pretty sure-since I found these boards, that its the culprit for my mood swings too. PMS 24/7. I called my doc and she prescribed me regular Ortho, saying that OTC Lo probably didn't have enough hormones.

I am scheduled to start the regular Ortho in a few days. I hope it works, this bleeding nonstop has GOT to stop! This is the first time I've ever been on BC and I'm about to give it up again. Even before, at least my periods were regular. I'm willing to risk the killer cramps again.
