I've been taking Tri-Sprintec for two months. Switched from Yaz for insurance reasons. I have a period every two weeks, and its starting to take a toll on me. Went to the doctor and he told me that it takes 3 to 4 months for a body to adjust to a new BC. I want to trust in his judgement, but bleeding every two weeks is beginning to make me weak, depressed, and tired. I am losing iron and other minerals/etc, i'm bloated all the time, and I'm taking asprin/pain killers to deal with the abdominal pressure and cramping. Going to call tomorrow again for another appointment I think. This is ridiculous. It should not be this torturous to people who are taking precautions.

Has anyone tried Tri-Sprintec (the generic brand of Ortho-Tri Cyclen)
I'm currently usin Ortho lo, but once I finish this pack I will be taking tri sprintic...let me know how you felt about using it, thanks.
I HATE IT!!! Second pack had me so crazy by the time my period came- crying uncontrollably and mean, mean, mean! And now to boot- My nipple has been acting strangely- all inverted-- and i had it checked- there is a small lump that just came from NOWHERE!!! Was on Ortho-tri-cyclen-lo forever and was FINE!!! This is bullshit! I have stopped taking them and am convinced this "lump" is due to the generic. PLEASE REFUSE TO TAKE THESE! THE INDUSTRY IS TAKING ADVANTAGE OF US AS USUAL! If it were for men... no way they'd get away with it...

I just started my tri-sprintec three weeks ago. I am supposed to start my white pills in 2 days, but I've been cramping for the past two days now. Before I started, I was really prone to mood swings and I usually gained 10-15 lbs of water weight. It's two days til I'm supposed to start and I've not gained the water weight (knock on wood) and aside from stress, my moods have been pretty stable.

THis is my first time taking birth control i have had extremely sore boobs, cramps this whole month and now i am not taking the placebo pills because my period has not come yet i am a little bloated like normal but kind of worried. I have had mood swings but not to what everyone has said they have i can normally calm myslef down. My boyfriend is in the marines reserves and when he came home we didnt have sex we just messed with each other and we like to um... grind... but i was wearing something and so was he so im not worried that im prego this pill makes me hungry all the time since the first week and thats probably from me being stressed. I am going to proceed taking this pill cause it says after 3 months that you should start feeling normal so we shall see wish me luck

I just heard from my pharmacist that Tri Sprintec (generic for Ortho Tri Cyclen Lo) is in process of a law suit. Something about needing to wait more time after the brand name was released before releasing the generic Sprintec version. Cant find much info online b/c pharmacist says it isn't out and well known yet, but once it does, costs could change, etc.

I was on OTC-lo for about 3 months. Everything was fine. Than, unknowingly was switched to Tri lo sprintec. I was fine for the first month on it then the second month I had cramps fora week paired with my period for two weeks ! I was a complete bitch and almost made my boyfriend cry I Was so psycho. Now I wanted to be switched to Brand name BC, but I wasnt. Of course Now Im on regular tri sprintec. Will there be a difference with a higher hormone? Will it be better, does anybody know?
