On pill for 3 years -- now I got my period in the middle of my pill cycle!

Great forum. My bf hot back from mines this week, I had two periods this mth so we coul just go nuts and I started bleeding, I thought we were just too vigorous, but started to get concerned that it was something more when we finished and it was just like a period!!! I'm going to give it a week now and then go docs, I'll post my response of its anything different x

I have been on yasmin for two years now and recently my cycle has become irregular. I am currently taking the active tablets but have started bleeding 9 days before my period is due.
Do I skip the inactive pills? Or do I continue my period?

I'm on the patch pill and because me and my boyfriend are sexually active Ive kept my pill going for nearly 3 months without allowing my body to have a period , I am half way thro this month and I had spot bleeding the month and just got a full period ! U am 2 weeks away from what should be my period time , what could be the problem ?

I am so glad I found all of these comments! I am on Ortho-Tri Cyclen and have been for like 16 years. I have had a couple days of minor spotting here and there if I changed my diet, had stress, or forgot to take a pill but this time none of these factors contributed. I have been spotting for 9 days straight and all of a sudden today it seems I am in the middle of a full blown period. I don't know if I should continue with the pack or just have the period and restart over again? This is so annoying!

I'm 20. I'm on Microgestin 1.5 30 and this is happening to me. Been on it for 3 or so years, but have been on the pill for 7 years. Started out as brown discharge yesterday but now there's darker red blood mixed in. Really hoping nothing's wrong, calling the doctor tomorrow to ask. Haven't been more stressed than normal and diet hasn't changed either. My last period just ended a week ago. :-/

After I stopped the pill I didn't get my period for 96 days....terrifying, But it was just my body getting used to no hormones again. I finally got it and had never been happier. haha

Did anyone find out what was wrong???

I have an even odder situation... i started Lo Loesterin 8 months ago and my periods disappeared. I haven't had a period, spotting, or cramps in eight months...until now. On the first day of my second week of pills, I started spotting (pink and brown). It's still going on now (5 days later) and is accompanied by light cramps. I am not stressed at all and I haven't changed my diet. I did have sex a week before this happened, and we were very careful, but I'm worried it's implantation bleeding...

I'm so confused right now.. I'm supposed to get my period at the end of the month but i got it yesterday (7th) in the morning I was just spotting then i thought I had a uti cause it hurt when i peed, and it looked like I was bleeding from where I pee. Then it turned into a full period. The last time I had sex was on Thursday. I have been taking the pill for a few years now and this is the first time this has happen to me. I'm wondering if i should stop taking the pill and start a new pack when I'm done bleeding or take the sugar ones (that i take when I'm supposed to get my period) or just keep taking them..
And ideas would be great thanks.

I've had a a very similar problem,
I am on yasmin and I missed my pill for about 3 days I have stupidly done this beforw in the past 3 years I've been on the pill.
I keep coming on my period very heavy with bright red blood (sorry to be graphic)
I think I'm of then come straight back on its been happening for about 10 days at first I didn't think anything was wrong my then my breasts starters hurting too, so I'm getting worried by boyfriend keeps telling me to go the doctors but I just think he tell me to carry on my pill but that don't help me now
Just wondered if anyone knew any ideas or help
