My daughter is 13 and she is really developed for her age. I want to put her on birth control for precutionary issues. She thinks she has to dress with her clevage out and wanting to wear tight tight cloths. I amjust nervous and want to be safe then sorry.

I began taking Depo two months ago. That first cycle lasted two weeks. I was mortified so I did some searching on the side effects and saw that the only comments posted seemed to be horrific accounts of ongoing periods. So then I researched WHY the bleeding was a side effect. It seems to be due to thinning of the uterine lining which a fertilized egg would normally attach. So then I thought... how do I fix that? I began taking a mutli-vitamin with high B vitamins and also Fish Oil for high Omega 3. I haven't had any periods since I began my vitamins. I also haven't had any weight gain and am only mentioning that because it seems to be a hot topic. I exercise daily and keep my calories under control. That is the basics of weight loss and something everyone should pay attention to. No headache or any other symptoms. I am 42 and have no intention of having anymore children. This is the first time I have ever taken birth control and am only doing so to control my heavy and long periods that have worsened over the years. So no worries here about EVER having another cycle... I pray.
