I have two blood clots in my lungs and am on the lovenox shot twice a day and the warfarin and came home from the hospital 2 days agao and read Brittany say even after the medicine she can an additional clot and wondered if that has happened to anyone else and I was thinking I am kindof in the clear now. I am 30 years old and not sure with all different opinions if I should be alarmed or if I can continue normal life as before. I went in to the Hospital a week ago with chest pains and I couldn't breath and was starting a mild heart attack and pushed them to send me home and am now worried. I am having blood work twice a week and am still on the lovenox 2 times a day and the warfarin. They keep saying it is serious and others are saying just take it easy but with two little perfect children I am so afraid of leaving them. If I only knew what to do or how to handle this and how long to allow myself if there are any restrictions. We have an adult fostercare as well and mu Husband works full time. I just feel with the Doctors afraid of law suits they aren't as helpful with answering questions. If anyone has any advice I could really use it to put things in perspective here, thanks!

I would pay very close attention to the warning signals your body may be giving you. I had a stroke from the Patch at age 36. I was in the hospital for about 4-5 days, and returned to work about 3 weeks later. I thought I was fine, and my doctors thought I was fine. But I had a second stroke, and was then off work for almost a year. So please pay attention to your body - if you start to feel at all like you did prior to your situation, don't be stubbourn, go to a dr. Good luck. I am leading a fairly normal life now, but I'm medically managed - tons of medicine, lab work on a regular basis, etc. But fairly normal outside of that.

Kim, have you ever looked into a lawsuit of your own? Ennis&Ennis P.A. have been ontop of these cases, and could look at yours for you. They're great.

Thanks for the thought but I am already involved. That's all I am saying at this point. ;)

This was on a separate post....the Public Citizen, an independent advocacy group, has issued a press release regarding their request to the FDA to recall the Patch. The press release, including the petition, is at this link: http://www.citizen.org/

Sounds like a hopeful initiative from a non-biased group. They do not accept corporate funding, advertising, or government funding.

Despite the fact that this birth control patch can benefit many women all over the world, the dangers of its improper use may threaten women’s health to a great extent. These items need to be studied further, and in saying so, it requires quite a long time to get more information. Adequate and timely warnings about the possible risks caused by these products should be done. http://www.vaginalmeshlawsuit.com/

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Sagittarius

Relationships have been going through through testing times since the Solar Eclipse at last month's New Moon in Gemini on May 20. Events may force you to reevaluate the state of a partnership. You may even decide that you need to make some major adjustments if things are to carry on as you would like. During the coming fortnight leading up to the rare second New Moon in Gemini, this may feel like a crisis, but that doesn't mean you should abandon all hope or throw out the baby with the bathwater.
