Seasonique

I started spotting the third month I was taking this pill. After reading all the comments I just kept taking it. I got my actual period when I started the placebo pills and stopped when I started my new pack of pills. I am hoping that I don't start spotting again. So far so good.

The "clots" is your uterus lining shedding, which is what a period is.

Dont use seasonique I only used it because the time I used it helped me ovulate after getting off it sadly I was in a different state then my fiancé and we couldn't have sex so I gave it another try. Well this time I got off it on the 3rd day of light cramping and bleeding I had severe labor type cramps for 2 hours straight I could barely move to do anything but something told me to get up bend over the bed and spread my legs well I did the pain stopped and the biggest clot type thing fell out it was the size of my fist and ad long as my fist I put on a pad which filled up in thirty seconds and headed to the Er I bled all over the hospital room and bathroom several huge clots were dropping out all over the place on the doc shoe it was the worse night of my life!!! Today's my 8th day of bleeding and I'm still bleeding heavily and having cramps seasonique is good if you want no period but it's not worth the blood you lose and pain you go threw after you stop I don't recommend this!!!!!

You are SO not exaggerating some of the same things happend to me read my post before this one

I just got done with the first three packs of the Seasonique and I bled the entire time that I was on it. The other symptoms I haven't noticed such as the weight gain, stomach cramps, bloating, and gas but I also have IBS which causes those symptoms too. I was supposed to start my period on Monday (February 20th, 2012) but I didn't start until the 22nd. It freaked me out because the last pill I was on, if I missed just one dose I'd start my period. But I did start finally and the period has been a lot lighter and shorter than normal. On my last two birth controls I was on (Nuva Ring and the Patch), I wouldn't end my period until two days after I started the new monthly cycle. And it was always fairly heavy. This time, It's only the 25th and I'm already off my period. I seriously only bled for three days.
The first birth control I ever had (Low Estrin), I bled all the time. Every other week for 2 weeks I had a period and I had SEVERE mood swings. It was so bad that my fiance at the time compared me to being possessed. Well, with the spotting, I did talk to my doctor because I was worried that I'd have the same experience. He did say that this is just a step up from Low Estrin, so the dosage of Estrigine in my system may be too low, but it's too soon to tell. I'm gonna wait until I start my new pack to see if I start spotting again or what before I decide what I want to do.

I have been on Seasonique for two plus years. I have never had any side effects. This pill has been great for me.

Worst pill ever. Been on it for a year and bleed almost every day. Some days heavy and some days light. Puts a real damper on your sex life!

I am on my fourth week on seasonquie.....And already having bleeding how long is this going to last because I am already getting annoyed I started off light now it's getting heavy like a normal period and I am just on my fourth week ???
