Good question..is it overdiagnosed? YES! Then, there is the problem of getting off the medications. There are side effects! Fortunately, my daughter was able to get off the meds after discovering she did not have bipolar disorder.

The issue shows in the first place how unaccountable, and unreliable psych "diagnoses" are.(www.antipsychiatry.org)
Too many people are fraudulently "diagnosed", Too many are abused, and killed by psych staff on locked-door psych wards, and clinics.(1999, GAO Investigatory Report on "Mental Health") Too many people are falsely "diagnosed") by non-medicals like psychologists, and social workers. Should non-medical psychs (psychologists and social workers) "diagnose" anyone???(www.adhdfraud.com) |
