I wet heavily so I pin on thick terry nappies and usually 2 pairs of plastic pants. The first pair I tuck into the nappy round the legs and waist and the other pair put on for added protection just like my mother did to me, no wet beds but very wet nappies.

That’s a brill idea cause it would solve the only problem I’ve got with going to weekly physiotherapy sessions for my Cerebral Palsy. I have no bladder control due to my CP disability, and the new physio lady makes me strip down to just my terry nappy and plastic pants before I get on the physio table, and as the plastic pants that my mum gets for me are see-thru, I can’t help feeling that the physio lady is always staring at my nappy to see if I have wet. The first time she did my physio she got the nurse to change me into a disposable nappy before massaging my legs and arms, cause she could see that my terry nappy was already fairly wet. I don’t want her to do that again cause I am allergic to the stuff that disposables are made from and I don’t want to end up with the very sore and itchy rashes that disposables give me.
If I could get mum to get me some white plastic pants that aren’t see-thru and put them on me over the tucked-in clear pants then I would feel a lot less self conscious during physio sessions and they would give added protection.

I went back to nappies at night when my bedwetting became a nightly thing again about three years ago.

I think it takes a very special woman to cope with a man that regularly wets the bed.

Hmmm... It took me a year to get out of the bewetting phase.... I was 10 nearly 11 when it first happened and the last time i was 12 ... Im 14 now 2 years dry and i couldnt be any more happier!

I’ve asked mum if I can wear some white plastic pants over my normal see-thru ones when I go to physiotherapy for my CP, and told her why. She did some searches and found some pants made by a company called Suprima. The pants she thought would be the sort of thing I was looking for are the Suprima S1212 plastic pants with enclosed wide elastics and high waist to cover a nappy, and you can get white ones that aren’t see-thru. Does anyone know anything about these pants? Are they any good for wearing over terry nappies?

My mum just told me that she’s already ordered some of the white Suprima S1212 plastic pants for me to wear over my usual terry nappy and tucked-in see-thru plastic pants, just like Linda does it, when I go for physiotherapy once a week. Mum says she understands how I must feel a bit embarrassed when I’m just wearing see-thru pants over my nappy in front of the new physio lady and she says she is sure these new pants will solve the problem. I hope she’s right.

Hi Linda, Im like you I wet heavy and need a lot of protection. I wear a thick diaper and a good grade plastic panty and it helps a lot. Of course there are times when it don't,( last night was one of those times) My mom use to get a cheaper grade plastic pants and they did not work well. Now she pays more for a better grade but they are a lot greater protection and last a zillion years (well maybe not that long but they outlast the cheaper one several times over).
