Hewholovestobewet wrote: <quoted text>Ialways wet more when wearing a nappy> I think this is because I am more relaxed. I also find if I keep one on during the day I am more likely to wet without realising so I don't wear during the day very often as I would soon end up totally incontient and although I enjoy my bedwetting I am not ready for uncontrolled daytime wetting just yet. It's quite restrictive being wet and poopy 24/7 and you get very sore so try not to wear a nappy unles you have too but night time is a bit diferent as you might no always be in your own bed. A good nights sleep is much needed. Dean.

My nappy was wet yesterday morning and today, kept my bed dry though, so will stick with nappies for now. Saw doc when i was a kid about bedwetting and was just a deep sleep problem/small bladder so will just see how it goes for now. Not sure about wearing nappies if I sleep over somewhere else, but guess ill guess used to it. At least i can take sleep meds and wake up in a dry bed. cheers xx

Look to all the baby products to over come any problems you come up against as they have already been resolved for you there. Dispose of a used nappy by useing a nappy sack then you can put it in you bag or case and dispose of it later, creams will help with any rash and plastic pant's will make sure there are now leaks. All are avalible in baby shops or at a chemist. Life dose not have to be a prob, just get on and enjoy it. Wearing a nappy to go to bed is no big deal, it's just another form of underwear, nothing else. Take care, Dean.

I was refered to the continence nurse and my mother was able to get various bedwetting aids such as large blue incontinence pants like disposable nappies and a proper cover for my bed. I could have had an alarm but never did. The doctor said pretty much the same small bladder, deep sleep etc. "He'll most likely grow out of it eventually" I was supposed to go back if my wetting didn't stop and should have seen a specialist but never did. My folks just accepted I wet the bed after that. I never did grow out of my bedwetting. Although I was dry for a while at the end of my teens I was back to regular bedwetting by my mid twenties and have wet on and off ever since.

I would like to say, as far as the alcohol thing goes that is a big part of it.
I started drinking a little bit (not binge drinking or anything) when I was 16, before that I had a "bladder of steel" (that was, I would only every pee because I knew I should, not because I had to).
But after I started drinking alcohol I find myself needing to go regularly (even when I haven't been drinking). And sometimes after a night of drinking, I have been close to peeing myself. If I don't drink for a period of 2 weeks+ it is less of an issue though.
So while it sounds like there is an underlying problem (i.e. potentially your past bedwetting), alcohol really doesn't help lol ....

I do belive it's a mix from my bed setting never really getting fully resolved... And alcohol because last night I went out drinking and had maybe 7 rum an cokes (I'm a shy guy for peeing in bars) so I had only went once at the bar after holding it back for as long as I could 2 hours but once I "broke the seal" I found the more often I had to pee so when I had finally left after going to the bathroom I went again in the ally way and then again when I got home but outside my house because I wasn't able to hold my pee till I got to the toilet :/ that was honestly 30 min between each leak after I got in I changed and went to sleep and maybe just before I dropped off to sleep fully I felt and heard the fromilure sound of water dripping and spraying but was asleep already like it happened a few more times last night and I always only wake up to the faint sound of me wetting my bed but not awak enough to stop my flow or ran to a bathroom I just pass back out again while I finish my buisness in my bed or where I am... It just sucks I told my doc she said I'd grow out of it but like I'm already in my early 20s... But drinking doesn't help ur I'm young iv been drinking since 15 I like to have fun even when I was a kid I didn't pee the bed this much or many times in one night after drinking like its getting worse as I age by the looks of it and like depends leak on me... A lot so I'm better off to just leave them off iunno what to do ugh *shakes head*
