Girls and Bedwetting

I keep hearing that not many girls wet the bed they why do they make products like goodnights and underjams for girls

Hi Pam Yes, they make Goodnites and Underjams for both boys and girls. Goodnites are made for both up to 125+ . Underjams, at least where I live come in only a smaller size. I also use small/med size pullon type that are made for older kids and adults. They also come in girl/women and boy/men products. Have a good day Ash

hi pam. i think their r as many femail bedwetters as mail.no one knew the problem was so big until companies started making products for older children teens and adults. they started selling like hot cakes and thats the only reason they found out. they sell as much female as male.dont think your in the minority. hope this helps. let me no.

I think you are right Graham. Although bedwetting is reckoned to be more common in boys, daywetting is a greater problem amongst girls so, I guess, the numbers balance each other out.

although you have statistics stating about how many boys so this to how many girls do that you shouldn't pay attention to it. The fact is it's still a problem in girls and just like anything else theres nothing to be ashamed of, and you can still get just as much advice about it and just as much support just remember there are thousands if not millions of girls out there who wet the bed, it' a natural thing so dnt worry bout it.

You are 100% correct about that. Thanks for your message. I wish boys were not so afraid to talk to girls about this. The bottom line is--both boys and girls share the same problem. Why be afraid to compare notes with each other.

Itis one thirty in the morning and I have just soaked my diaper and it has leaked thru onto my pajamas and bedding. Right now I feel so alone. It seems there is no longer anyone who comes to this board that cares. I just need to find someone who cares enough to share their frustrations with me.

When I was your age I actualy considerd suicide. I was at a // party // my first // time // with a girl. And maybe god hated me. Iwet the bed. I was 15. Ashamed is not the word. She didn't tell anyone, thank god. But I to know that all alone feeling. When I was 16 I never had any poblems after that. But until then,, life was hell. When I was a kid they didn't have / protecion / for older kids it was straight up old people diapers. I hated it. And we didn't have internet like you do now. There was no place to talk.

Ashley,, I'm older,,lol. And I'm a guy. And a professional asshole :-). But I do understand the pain. And frustration of bedwetting. All I can do is lsten. And perhaps offer my opinion. But ill listen if you like. You may not understand why I'm doing ,, well ,, bashing on abdls. And being so cruel to them. I want this to be. The forum it was when mark was the moderator. A genuine place for people to come and talk. Without the freakshow all these abdls bring.
Anyways, your not alone kid!!! And I consider you to be verey strong to come to this place and stand your ground and talk about your problems. I wonder how many people turn away from seeking help and understanding because of the godd/am freaks plaugeing this site. To me that is verey sad that someone is not able to get the support they need. It makes me verey angry.

Thanks COMMANDER ATRULY I have normally been upbeat but felt a little down because it seemed no one was listening. I went to another site and talked with a few people and felt someone was listening but I told of an incident that happened while on a field trip. It was clean and just told how I had an accident and had to wear wet goodnites until I got home. and they said it was CENSORED. There was nothing dirty or out of place so now I don't understand why I can't even talk about something that happened and told I can't say it. Anyway, I appreciate you kindness. Am I the only teen age girl in the world that is a bedwetter in the Illinois-Iowa- Indiana area? I think I have a dreaded disease since I find no one around that wants to talk and compare notes. Anyway, if anyone writes I will return with a message. Its kinda lonely around here.

I think this is a really important topic, contrary to what some ppl think there are probably just as many girls as boys who wet the bed into their teens and for some even as adults.

No girl who wets the bed should feel alone!! there are tons of girls who share the same situation.

it is a very good sight and you will meet meny of your peers there who have the same problem as you self make freind and talk to your own age group it can only help you in the long run

mydltown looks like another abdl site, I know we would be welcome there but not for the reasons we'd want. There should be a place where bedwetters can discuss their problems and things without a bunch of ppl getting excited that there are real girls and boys who wear diapers for protection.

From what I've heard, between 1 in 50-100 teenagers still wet the bed. That's not uncommon at all and means a lot of people in the IL=IN-IA area.
But remember, a lot of people wouldn't want to talk about it online, much less at a site that has had so much fakers and fail.
Perhaps there might be support groups in the area for people with a type of disability or medical condition. Talk to your parents about either finding some people to talk to or options for support.
Do you have a counselor that you see? He/she would probably be able to give you some suggestions as would most other doctors.

Yes there probably are lots of girls who suffer from nocturnal enuresis, thats why there are many products on the market for suferers.
But to be honest having been in this catagory all my life it's not something I am proud of, I have at times been very miserable about the whole thing and feel I have been deprived of alot of social interaction with friends because of it, sleep overs and school trips to name a couple.
Even now at 17 I still bedwet, I am lucky in the fact that i have a loving understanding boyfriend who more than tolerates me and my night time attire, I mean who would tolerate your partner wearing what amounts to nappies to bed each night?.

I'm sorry but I can't get my head round the fact that there are people who actually make a fetish out of this, come on you guys seeing you girl in ligerie beats a disposable nappy and a bonnet any day surely.
