I tried all kinds of supplements. Nothing has worked for me so far except Propecia. Has anybody actually used these products and gotten real results? I would love to know.

i used provillus for a year but no improvement - knew it was a scam when opened packet as there was an add for pills which made your penis bigger.There just vitamins with large dose of saw pawlmetto which is not proven.It claims it is FDA approved but thats because its topical solution contains Minoxidol -and u can get that much cheaper from Costco anyway. they also advertise it as a health supplement so avoiding all the tests medicines have to go throughto show they are safe and do what they claim to.Thats why the market is flooded with so called herbal remedies !

Sorry you were ripped off man. Provillus and Procerin are scams and nothing more than overpriced Saw Palmetto. The only proven hair loss treatments are Propecia, Minoxidil and Nizoral.

Also anyone here who posts links to "magical" potions, books, online pharmacies or herbs are also spammers and should be avoided as well.

my regime is C1 caffeine shampoo ,Dutasteride 1mg,minoxidol 2ml, and multi vitamins/minerals tablet with an an amino acid tablet has given me regrowth of hair though it took a year for noticable effects to happen. Dutasteride of course has not FDA approval for hairloss but inhibits more DHT than Propecia.i am 47 now and was bald as lost most of my hair at front and back. i'm now 47 and had been going bald since early 20. interesting about online pharmacies as been a lot of adverts in uk recently warning public about them. i use 4rx for my dutasteride

I suppose it all depends really how bad u want it. Dutasteride may never have FDA approval for MPB for whatever reason, but if u do your research on the net you will find that it is the next generation in DHT blockers to Propecia ( developed by the same company and with the same history eg not originally developed for MPB )and therefore must be our next best hope until a breakthrough occurs and as with all medicines we react to them differently. Also experience from others show greatest benefit obtained by combining treatments eg a regime. For example having hopefully stopped your hair from falling out with a DHT blocker you will want to try and regrow some of what you have lost with a regrowth treatment like Minoxidol etc.
Either way If you decide you want to obtain them cheaply you can go for the generic version which contains the same active ingredients but called a different name and made by another manufacturer. Remember though to check via forums like this that you are getting them from reputable sources and again not being ripped off -eg learn from others experiences and research before u buy and have patience.
