"DITTO" Painkiller. Some people can only imagine the level of pain that some of us have to live with.

I was hit in the driver side door by a fully loaded 18 wheeler who was speeding through a school zone. I was on my way to take one of my kids to school (he missed the bus again) and fortunately he wasn't hurt. This was Friday 08:30, March 30, 1984 and I have lived in constant pain since then.

sure for everday "i sit at an office desk pain", but not REAL PAIN. Ive had massage, tai chi, yoga, vitamins,...only temporary relief. Nothing long acting. Believe me, if I knew of some therapy that could cure this pain, I would do it in a heartbeat and get rid of these meds.

You have obviously never experienced real pain...I think you are talking about discomfort! We are talking about 8,9 or 10 on the pain scale, we're talking about two injections of Toradol and one injection of hydroMorphine and 20mgs of valium to get our blood pressure down from 210 over 105 to 145 over 90(my normal bp is 118 over 75). I have much more to say but not going to waste it on you! But I'll see your Capsaicin cream and raise you my prescription cream called Voltaren Gel, hell I use your cream on my burritos! Later, jj

There are several spots on the internet which are connected to knowlededgeable persons about Fibromyagia & Chronic Fatigue and one of the best is the About.com site on this area.
The pharmaceutical medications which one ends up on are as different as each of us is a unique person has been my (non profit FM-ME Leader and woman with this) and my doctor who is knowledgeable/educated about FM-ME experience.
Also a sideline are of the illnes is "irritable bowel syndrome" which can cause either diahrrea or constipation.
When I was put on Oycodone for a year - it blocked my system so badly that the poisons were coming back up my system and I ended up in emergency with Menengitis.
I ended up on a 12 hr apart combo of 100mg morphine, with one Tylenol 3 and I'm allowed to take 2 more Tylenon 3 if needed in a 24hr period.
I have found that WATKINS Analgesic Balm, which is in a white creme form, works wonders for my overthe top pain for 3-4 hours. Ask me how you can get this wonderful pain creme (sofa_fm_meok@hotmail.com)
meanwhilego to our Facebook page at SOFA: Sunny Okanagan FM-ME Association or www.sofafmme.org or www.mefmaction.net and look at the Consensus Documents for details on this invisble, debiliating illness that the medical community has known about for 169 plus years and has pushed away and pushed away.
Honors to any docs who treat patients with this illness!

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Scorpio

You need a little light relief at the moment and one of the best ways to find it today is to get together with someone who always makes you laugh. You might even want to tell them what's going on in your life at the moment so you can get their perspective on it. This will help to keep your feet on the ground and then you won't feel quite so miserable or beset by problems.
