Though doctors are unsure of what causes blood pressure to increase, a new study suggests that a specific type of neck adjustment may reduce hypertension for some of the 65 million Americans battling it.

Where do you find a chiropractor who is experienced in this type of treatment?

Type some more garbage Wisdom, it's fun to hear was your little mind thinks of next! You just talk in circles with nothing new to add to your arguments. You and jim are the same, two peas in a pod! You guys should start a club or something!

This is not the only type of chiropractor that does this work. Go to a larger network of corrective chiropractors www.maximizedliving.com

You have no idea what you're talking about chiro student. Nucca quackers do not limit themselves only to patients with BP issues. They treat anyone. You're really showing your ignorance now.
Man up and stop these subluxation spewing wackos. That is...if you value ethics. I'm not holding my breath. |

Actually, that site lists about 85-90% of the chiropractors who do that work. NUCCA was the technique used in the study, and so that's why I pointed him in the direction of the NUCCA website. There are other upper cervical techniques based around correcting the atlas misalignment in a similar fashion, but were not actually used in this study. I would feel comfortable sending a person looking for this kind of result to an Atlas orthogonal chiropractor or even a Grostic/Orthospinology DC, but they are the only other ones I am aware of who really look at the upper cervicals in the same way. Not just anyone associated with your practice-building company. |

Excellent Wisdom, thank you buddy, you really came through again. It was an even dumber blog than I could have hoped for! You are just as little a man as your buddy jim. A pathetic excuse for a man. Funny that you call me a coward.....sombody needs to take a long hard look in the mirror. It's funny that you think your little comments on here will even remotely effect chiropractic! You're so dumb it's just fun watching!

Student boy. Ha Ha You were the one who railed against the subluxation yet you defende the same idiocy.
You are no different than the other chiroquacks here. You are truly in for a rude awakening. First your school will drain you of all your money, then the state and national boards will bang you for obscene fees to take their stupid subluxation based boards, then you'll realize that insurance companies are reducing their reimbursement to very low levels. You'll also realize you won't be able to get on their provider lists. Get out now dummy. You've been warned. Coward. |
|
|
LOL, you're fun to toy with!
First I've never really given you my views on subluxations..........why you are stuck on a word we use is beyond me....2nd you don't need to worry about my financial situation or warn me about what I'm going to have to spend. I'm well aware of it all, I know whats on the boards and how much they cost. Third, I will be just fine with a cash practice if necessary. Preventative and alternative medicine will become equally as important as conventional medicine eventually and thats when chiropractic will peak. More and more people are seeking our care because of the HMO's raising their rates. In a sense they are driving patients to us! Insurance companies will eventually get the idea that they need to include alternative medicine more...not less. You should just give up this fight and hop on board and get adjusted. If you really did have any "wisdom" you would. It's coming soon enough, you shouldn't miss it pal! I mean coward! You make me laugh. Which boards did you fail.....Part I,II,III,or IV. I hope you really are a fail out chiro, that would be classic. |

Judged: 1 What management company told you that? Ha Ha Ha Subluxation...the premise upon which chiropractic is built.... Ha Ha A fictitious lesion found only by chiropractors. Too stupid. Hey, hows your cow adjusting coming along? |
|

I know plenty of chiros that run cash practices that do just fine. What the hell is your argument here you fool, and what is up you and these stupid cow jokes? Very lame, you are clueless!

Judged: 1 You're serious? Wow you are ignorant...even though I al;ready opened your eyes to the fact that every chiro college, every state and national chiropractic organization and every state and national testing board has the SUBLUXATION as the foudation/premise/the very reason chiropractic exists. And yet, no one can show that a "subluxation' even exists. Its just too stupid. Cash practices...stop it you're making me laugh too much.. Too funny. Now, I might even enjoy watching you throw your money down the drain with chirporactic.. Hey, open a blood pressure clinic. Lightly torque the side of the neck like the nuuca nut does. If it works....you're a millionaire overnight. But I'm going to enjoy watching reality set in. Then you can blame the pharmaceutical industry. |

Dear (Dr). Tell your one-sided, close minded opinions to the medical doctors that are fielding this peer reviewed scientific study. At a time when medication use is at an all time high and people and doctors are seeking alternatives to more and more meds this kind of research is very welcome. |

This bodily response is simply a product of the practice of addressing the cervical spine as part of patient care. If your nervous system works properly, without interference, your body will exhibit fewer signs of physical stress.. in this case, high blood pressure.

Nucca, you have no idea what you're talking about.
The only thing you can be sure of is...I know way more about chiropractic than you do. Now go back to curing high blood pressure in chickens. I just don't get how you measure their leg lenghts.+ |

The key is that chiropractic can refuce high blood pressure but probably not cure it. I've seen it hundreds of times while treating patients with neck injuries, none with upper cervical technique however, just general cervical manipulations.
People who take BP meds do not feel well while taking them and have a tendency to skip doses because of this side effect. I have heard that a lot also from patients who have dangerously high BP when coming for treatment of their injuries. It is a constant battle for me to get these people to get back on their meds and f/u with their PCP and sometimes I have to send them to the ER. Chiropractic might be something an elevated BP patient might try in order to reduce or get away from these powerful meds, but it has to be heavily monitored and I would hope in conjuction with the patients PCP. Oh and Wisdom, you are truly unbalanced. Very intertaining to say the least. |
