Next, I am not attcking Africa about this topic. I got on here with interest in a possible aids vaccine, and i think it is a medical breakthrough, if it works, and i think it is great that they have come far enough on one to try it on humans.
What you need to is take the time to read the post and see what it says instead of trying to belittle people. AIDS is a problem everywhere, not just Africa and this is important.
If you are offended because I asked how can they tell the vccine works, it is a legit question. We know the flu vaccine works because they are able to test it and see the effects of the vaccine which is not a death sentence if it doesn't work, on the other hand with aids, it is. So that is my question.
there is more to reading then just knowing what the words on the page mean, there is comprehending and understanding what you read as well, work on that.

I am not concerned with race, I mention I am African American because African Americans are being hit by this disease the hardest in this country. I am concerned about the health and safety of all people, not just blacks, africans or whites, but everyone.

as i recall, student doctors at the university of stellenbosch, not cape town, discovered it. it was publicised and they had a line up of volunteer patients begging to be "used' for testing who were either dying from aids or infected by it, and the govt turned them down flat and refused to allow them to proceed. there's lots of foreign income funding to be made from aids as long as a cure is not officially discovered....
interesting, but i guess we'll never know.
