Swine Flu and The HIV Positive Community

Sorry, this is going to be a little off topic but I've been expecting this bit of twisted logic from the anti-gay fundies. They may still be trying to work it out, so I'll just give it to them. Maybe they'll pick it up and run with it, further destroying what little credibility they might have left.

Swine flu is God's punishment for gay marriage. Since gay marriage is a direct link to bestiality, obviously gays have been having sex with pigs, which are unclean (unless barbecued). This resulted in the gays unleashing the scourge of God on the people for their sins.

I could elaborate more but hopefully you get the point.

I don't mean to belittle the actual point of the article. Those with HIV should certainly contact their physicians (not the media) for advice.

Actually, pigs are pretty clean animals. It's the way we house them that lends to the "uncleanliness" fallicy. Yes they do tend to roll around in the mud, but that is to keep themselves cool since they don't sweat. Now...Muslims and Jews believe that pigs are unclean, but that goes back to their religious beliefs of which I refuse to subscribe...their beliefs and any others to be clear.

Check your facts, they're not correct.

gay men, while professing to be our "girlfriends" and "shopping buddies" are the ones taking us (women) down. We've been trained the past few years to think that being gay is so cute and doesn't harm anyone. Gay men are smiling in our faces and then spreading HIV behind our backs, leading dishonest lifestyles and bringing deadly disease home to their wives and girlfriends. Before you said that transmission from a woman to a man is nearly impossible, now you qutoe someone who says only 2 to 8 times more likely. Are you deliberately lying or just unable to think straight.

The easiest method of transmission of the HIV virus is through shared or dirty needles, which, of course, pay no attention to the gender of the body into which they're being injected.

While I agree that pigs are mistreated and kept in cruel and inhumane ways, what you eat has nothing to do with your chances of getting swine flu. It is spread like other flus, not by consumption of pig products.

Wow, talk about a big gap in logic, woman! Up until now your posts have been about bisexual men passing HIV to their sexual partners. Then you took a big leap and blamed gay men for doing that to women. Since when is gay synonymous with bisexual? I don't think I am incorrect in saying that many (if not most) gay men are not sexually attracted to women and would not want to have sex with the opposite sex.

And while we're at it, lets assume that only Muslims cause terrorist attacks, only black people are poor, and only Mexicans are illegal immigrants.

Stfu and educate yourself before you make idiotic assumptions about a group of people that you don't know anything about.

The swine flu is man-made and so is HIV. It's no secret the govt and WHO is out to get us gays.

It IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE!!! They can, do and have contracted it through intercourse.
