Vascellaro recovering from hip replacement

a good man, get well Frank...and fast...before "the self serving one" ( Shelby) comes back out of retirement.....

The airwaves are once again egoless. With Dandy Don gone and Frank sideline there has been a breath of fresh air in the new lately. I'm sad to here he'll be back so soon.

Too bad he didn't have an operation to correct his lisp.

Really, who cares, he is a biased reporter anyway.

Yea, you are right, it was rude. But I still wonder why I seem to be the only person to wonder why a major market TV news operation has a lead anchor with a lisp.

To the people who seem to think they are perfect; kudos to you on your ignorant comments. I've known Frank & Amelia for some time and on and off the air they are great people. Who are we to judge anyone WCCO hires? Just in case you didn't know there's a button on your remote to change the channels!

They got rid of Don Shelby. Frank V is gone. Now if they would just get rid of that little mother dog Amelia Santaniello, WCCO might actually be watchable.

Wow...these are some really nasty comments. For not liking the guy or WCCO, a lot of you sure seem to know him and all about their news broadcast. Change the station if you don't like him/them!

Dear Blah, I don't listen extensively to Hugo Chavez either but I know enough about him to have the opinion that I don't like him and I have every right to express my opinion.

I'm not giving myself any credit. I am just amazed that a person with a lisp is hired to read the news. I would be just amazed if they hired a homely woman to sit next to Frank to read the news.

He might be a swell guy. I've never met him but met Amelia a few times and she seems like a sweet person. The only thing I want to know is why is this news? When news people become the news it's not good.

I sure know pain. Good he can get help for it. So young for this type of surgery. Bless your Family Frank and Bless all you who like and don't like them because you cared enough to write. I never noticed a lisp. This is America. Having someone "not perfect" is soooo great because, after all, who is? My Father used to say, "The last guy that was perfect got Crucified".
