who wrote this article? How come the author never calls this phenomenon what it is: EVOLUTION? is the author afraid to use the word for some reason?
when populations of organisms change over time, especially in response to selective agents in their environments, that's evolution. it is going on all around us, and when you don't call it what it is, you fuel the mistaken idea that evolution doesn't really happen. it does, and it matters.

Since they came out with that stupid Viagra pill, old men have been getting super horny and chasing women for sex all over the place!

It's amazing how many old guys are going after teen and college age girls as well now.

am involved daily as should EVERY OTHER PARENT. Of course you don't have to pass a test to have a kid, but you better be able to pass the test to foster or adopt a kid? Now I agree we don't need molestors any where near children, but my folks had friends one of whom was an activist in college and had several arrests during that time frame (more than 15 yrs from date of application for adoption) they almost didn't give him the MINORITY BABY they requested. Heterosexual couple yes, but the man's protests against Wounded Knee and the Vietnam War were enough for them to consider it? WTF?!?

That child by the way is the most loving man I have ever met, well rounded, tolerant and believe me his parents were involved teaching their values to him as am I. It is ludicris to think that if you've instilled your values and taught your children that ANYTHING the school taught would change their mind. Just look at all the posters supporting Prop 8? I don't think their values were changed by anything the school taught them, including civil rights (however civics requirements have been slashed and curriculum DRASTICALLY changed from when I was in school)

The real issue in society today that plagues Christians is a false definition of tolerance ,

Tolerance used to mean giving a fair hearing and peacefully existing with people of different beliefs, but now tolerance is accepting everything, there is no absolute truth and if you believe there is absolute truth you are considered intolerant. I believe there is absolute truth from God presented in the Bible and that absolute truth says there is right and wrong, and defines right and wrong. Romans 1: 18-32 has much to say about what is wrong that the world participates in, specifically about homosexuality:

"26 For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. 27 Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due."

The Bible defines homosexuality as unnatural, shameful and vile. Homosexuality is a sexual sin that Paul used as an example of the clearest deviancy from God’s design, GOD designed woman for man. It is unnatural for a man to push his penis into another man’s rectum that was clearly not the way things were meant to work even if it’s only a physical observation, and neither were two women designed to function together in a sexual manner.
A Christian perspective that believes in absolute truth agrees with the Bible in its assertion that homosexuality and fornication are both sinful and shameful, and would no more want these things taught to their children as good than to have them taught that murder and rape are good, or that lying, stealing, blaspheming God and so on are good. These things will not be seen as good or acceptable by Christian parents. The culture today is attempting to push Christians to accept that satanic creed, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law”, but the Bible commands us to give up are sinful ways and follow after what God wants and what glorifies God not man.
Christians do not want their children to continue in sin unrepentant and go to damnation when they die, so they will teach their children what they have learned from the Bible.
Christians today are being persecuted for their belief in God and their belief in his absolute moral law: a man was arrested for saying that what the school taught his child was wrong, and requesting to not have his child taught what is sinful is not. In Canada it is illegal to say anything against homosexuality, except for quoting the Bible, according to this law a pastor could be arrested for preaching a sermon on Romans 1, a father could be arrested for teaching his child what the Bible says about homosexuality. This society of tolerance does not tolerate Christians either in their definition or in the original definition.

The writer who refers to Romans 1 is right. It is a vile sin to practice homosexuality. In a world that is commonly calling evil good and good evil, this is but one of our societies ills. The apostasy of the American government and supreme court and it's anti-God stand are just two more that we're only years away of God's wrath. The unbelief of secular's won't stop that Judge. This country needs a revival of good old relegion and common sense as quickly as possible. Pray that this occurs before God's patience and mercy run out. Disbelief won't stop it, only compliance.
