Norvasc vs. Amlodipine (generic)

I find a BIG difference in the two -- my heart is really racing w/the generic. Is there that much difference?

I was on Norvasc then they switch it without telling me so I started to fell sick heart racing stomach hurt nausea all the time I just happened to look at my bottle on day and noticed it said Amlodpine Besylate generic for Norvasc. I had my doctor redo my percriptions so that they only dispense Norvasc to me. As soon as I started back up with Norvasc the problems went away.

I find some information about Norvasc (Amlodipine) at http://amlodipine.org There is description of side effects, dosage, using of this medicine. Hope it will be useful.
