I've recently had severe chest pain that radiated to my left arm and back. It felt like tight pressure coming from the inside of my chest cavity. It woke me up in the early morning. I waited until office hours to go to the doctor who refered me to the ER. They have mentioned angina and I am going for test at some time in the future. HOWEVER. The pain started at 11pm, was most severe at 5 am and continued until the early evening when it kind of petered out. I don't know that this is typical of angina. Can anyone help?
