I was recently admitted to AE with chest pain, subsequently have had a treadmill test which I managed to complete does this mean that there is nothing wrong with my heart as I managed this.

Had chest pain and breathlessness during test.

Many thanks

I regularly walk/jog 10k up steep hills,I regularly cycle 36miles,I regularly swimm 70 lengths,I regularly work out for 90 minutes or more in the gym and I don't have any problems. However if I experience mental strain/stress my angina flares up with a vengance. I just can't understand this dichotomy. Does anybody out there have any advice.

I think what you are feeling in your chest (perhaps something like discomfort or tightness) is not heart related. They always as unexplained chest pain; mostly anxiety related due to adrenalin. I had the same thing, and had ECG, Stress test and the doctor said everything was normal. I also exercise regularly so the doctor said if you can exercise and raise your pulse rate for an extended period of time without symbtoms then you don't heart problems.
I too am still puzzled because i do keep getting tightness in my chest whenever I am anxious or under stress.

Virgo

The Moon enters practical Taurus today, blending with dreamy Neptune in your sixth house of health and service.
