It is an interesting concept of religion that one must ask, or pray, god for favors. And that the more that ask, the better the likelyhood that god will grant your wish.

What a concept that we have to get god's attention! God, whom presumably knows all, even what is in each and everyone's heart, is just hanging out, waiting to see whom will ask and whom will not. And then even if you do ask, god may not grant the wish, for whatever reason.

And all of this gets pushed off as 'god's will', or 'its a mystery'. Nonsense. Its designed to keep us in mental and emotional, and sometimes economical, chains.

So, if I say your comments "make you look like a stupid jerk", then, that would be okay, because I did not call you a name?

And by the way - apparently you are.

(Sorry to everyone else trying to keep an intelligent tone in this debate - but I do not take kindly to being called names for having a different opinion from this guy. We will see how "Native" takes it.)

Oh, she'll take it. What she'll do with it is anyone's guess. lol

It always blows my mind on here when someone cries out "I've been offended!" then, turns right around and commits that same offense ten-fold!

Same happens nearly every time someone calls on someone for a misspelling of a word. They are so busy picking it apart that they misspell two or three words in their rant back.

Ok, friend. I'll let it go. My comment about coming back when you know something referred to the fact that I'm female and you have clearly been here so few times that you dont know that. Anyone on this local forum who has been here more than 15 minutes knows that. And by the way, my original intent was to have an intelligent dialogue with other intelligent people. I can hang, can you?

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Gemini

Do a little lateral thinking today and it will work wonders. Don't feel hidebound because you're supposed to do things in a certain way, because this is a great opportunity to try a different approach for a change. Even so, you may have to play down your unorthodox technique when talking to anyone who sticks rigidly to convention.
