Drug Treatment Program Cuts 27 Positions

Why does Blago think these cuts are alright? His stance on substance addiction and mental health seems to be "Who cares?" Not only is he hurting victims of substance abuse and mental illness, he is now hurting those who have made a profession out of helping these people in cost effective ways. When these poor souls are filling up the hospitals and institutions across Illinois and Blago has to justify the millions (billions?) of dollars it costs to treat them in these places he'll have no one to blame but himself. I just don't see how he can justify what he is doing. Its just plain sad.

I don't know how politicians, with all of their pork spending, can sleep at night. Per Citizens Against Government Waste:

•$156,000 to Southern Illinois University to refurnish cabins at the “Touch of Nature
Environmental Center” at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale
•$40,000 for the Springfield Figure Skating Club
•$35,000 for the Prairie Aviation Museum for a display gallery in Bloomington
