AP: FDA Food Safety Inspections Languish

The federal agency that's been front and center in warning the public about tainted spinach and contaminated peanut butter is conducting just half the food safety inspections it did three years ago.

It is very unfortunate for us all that our government is not performing well in this issue of public safety.
9/11 should be the guiding reason in why we would like to affirm that our food sources are safe and untainted.

The scientists in the article can't say if the lack of inspectors was a factor in the salmonella poisonings? Must be why they aren't with NASA. What a dangerous joke btt a good opportunity for some company to come out with "food poisoning" test strips. Just open the peanut butter or other product, dip in the strip and BINGO!

They should be more focused on policing the illegals who are pissing and shitting in the damn fields causing these health issues for the countries' damn crops!
