Kevin Costner was accused of performing an indecent act as he received a massage at a Scottish hotel, in a claim by a former spa worker filed with a British employment tribunal.

Kevin is a very handsome guy, but he was on his honeymoon and I think he showed no respect for his wife by pulling this stunt. Sure, he can have any woman he wants, which he proved by sleeping with Cal Ripken Jr's wife, but that was before he remarried. If a client "commits an indecent act" after I leave the room I could care less. If he make me watch that is a violation of my ethics and should be grounds for ending the session. However I would respect the privacy of the client and not tell specifics of the event to the press. I think reporting this outside her work was ethically wrong of this massage therapist as well as his actions.

Let's not forget that 'accused' does not mean 'guilty'. We all have a tendency to assume that men who are accused of indecent acts are guilty by virtue of being men.
For all we know, the massage therapist staged the incident for monetary gain. Innocent until proven guilty. |
