Way to go Health and Human Services. Kathleen Sebelius the director severely underestimated the number of doses that would be available. Meanwhile the Muslim Terrorist at GITMO has already received their shots.

I would say that this is a glimpse of our government's ability to run health care.

I'm not sure the detainees did receive the vaccine after the plan was publicized, but it was in the works.

Yes they did in fact receive the shots. As have thousands of prisoners across the country.

As the parent of a "high risk" child, this really makes me feel great.

I am way beyond upset about how the flu shots have been handled. You realize of course that "Head Start" programs across the state were given priority? Who else - other than my 5 year old and my 9 year old who are in public (Albemarle county) schools and can't get them yet, was given priority? This is BS; wake up America - this is a little taste of Obamacare.

Were you given an explanation as to why Albemarle County students did not receive the vaccine? Charlottesville public school students and staff who work in direct contact with the children received the vaccine.

Correction to my earlier comment. My child is in a Charlottesville elementary school. I didn't completely read the article. Only the elementary school students received the shots, and as of now vaccine is not available for the 2nd shot recommended for kids under 9.

Fluvanna students did not get it due to the incompatance of the teachers.

After making such a statement, shouldn't you offer facts to back up the statement. Could be true, but also, could be that you are feeling vindictive toward the entire school system for some reason.

The first tenet you are taught about business management is that you “inspect what you expect.” The way the late delivery problem slipped up on Sebelius, one can only assume that she placed the order and then did little or no follow up to get an accurate delivery status.

Couple this with the fact that HHS was also responsible for the distribution of this vaccine. HHS and the Obama Administration have both failed on all counts. How many lives will be lost because of their incompetence?

…and people want to entrust universal healthcare to a government that fails at everything it attempts?????????
