My son has Autism and has been on the GFCG diet for 3.5 years. Mcdonalds fries are a treat and his favortie. My son does not speak but will sign a little and can sometimes make out the word "eat". He knows where every McDonalds is that we have ever passed. This is terrible news for us. Not only because we have to take his fries away but because of the irreversible neurological damage it may have caused. The Gluten and Casein affects his brain over time and cause the symptoms to become worse. Or just drugs him and hinders his development. So it is not always a sudden change. So if anyone knows of any law suits being filed, send me an email. This is unbelievable!!

my 11 year old son was just diagnosed with celiac....when we first found out about it i went to as many food company web sites as i could to find which of his favorites he would still be able to enjoy....I actually went to the McDonald's site and was thrilled to see that he could still have the fries! It breaks my heart to think that now we have to tell him the truth.

We don't eat at fast food places a whole lot. But it is a treat for kids once in a while. And folks with celiac in the family count on the food companies to tell the truth.

I'm going to be the first in line when the doors open to the courtroom. I have 30 years of documentation about what these fries has done to me. I don't care if I get a quarter out of the suit but they need to know we ain't happy about their lyingh.

Look, all you people saying that mcdonalds is bad for you,this is a lie. Ya, if your going to eat fast food every single day, then ya you probely will get sick, fat, cancer, whatever. Your basically asking for it and blaming mcdonalds for your own stupidity. People think its the employees falt when they cant say whats in a product, or misses an ingredient. You see, its impossible to know every single ingredient, in every single item. so dont blame mcdonalds, blame yourself. Poor people just want a reason to sue mcdonalds and get big money. 2 years ago, a lady sued mconalds for a coffee spill. the lawsuit was for 2 million dallors. afterward, she was caught on a hidden cam spilling the coffee on purpose. All she wanted was money because she wanted to be rich. what is this sociaty coming to. You know, i could right more on this but i think ive made my point.

my wife has celiac disease and she ate a bunch of french fries.

Celiac isnt an allergy. its an autoimmune disorder, where the body creates immune reactions on itself, resulting in tissue injury. an allergy can be outgrown. celiac cannot. but, i agree with what you are saying.

this just shows how stupid you really are. i have seen some dumb things up here, but you, jeffery, are the biggest asshole yet. they admitted to lieing. they knew wheat, dairy whatever was in their food. they lied so they wouldnt lose money, puposely hurting other people. do you have celiac disease? i do, and i doubt that you are even the least bit intelligent. go get some info on this thing, then go look up what celiac does, and then go kill yourself. at least you die smarter than you are now.

you are one of the few educated people here. although, celiac isnt an allergy (i explained farther down). and also, oats, barley (malt), grains, and some modiefied food starches cant be taken in by someone with celiac. I slaute you!

Well, I was going to insult you, but then I decided not to, as I have insulted most people in this forum. There are ways to know if one has consumed gluten. Blood tests are taken. I am 14 and have celiac. They can prove that some people have been hurt (actually, all people with celiac who have eating mcd fries have been, at least internally). you should look it up sometime, its interesting.

Oh here we go again! Someone is going after another fast food chain to get rich. How sickening it is to constantly hear about people blaming these places for making them fat, or unhealthly, or ?
