Smokefree city streets not a problem for business

I am gratified to see such immediate evidence that the NZ government(s) are not going to rest all their hopes for smoking cessation on the taxation effort featured in another thread on this forum.

Counteracting the tobacco industry's efforts to make smoking seem like a "perfectly normal" thing to do by eliminating it from the main street experience makes good sense, over and above reducing the SHS exposure of those patronizing local businesses.

Yep it's nice sitting in a street side cafe or coffee shop without breathing cigarette smoke, I like my carbon monoxide uncontaminated thanks.
