Is it possible to email Steven about the HepC thing?
I am now on week 30 of a 48-week regimen of interferon injections and many pills which all make me pretty sick. Sounds like just what he went through.
It sure helped me want to continue with treatment after hearing he is now HepC-free. I was wondering if I could stand another 18 weeeks. Steven's news came out at the perfect time for me!
I feel a connection to Steven in that I have always lived in the vacinity of Sunapee,NH, where he used to hang out.(I know people who had Aerosmith play at their high school prom in the early 70s!)
In 1973, I went from listening to John Denver and Donnie & Marie right straight to Aerosmith and have many great memories listening to my favorite band.
I got married on the MV. Mt. Sunapee boat right around the time "Get a Grip" was really hot. I was so hoping to give Steven a shout out when we passed his place on the lake. It was during foliage season, so I thought you never know. I've heard people say they saw him here or there.
Any way, now with his HepC news, I admire Steven even more for his honesty. I know exactly what he, and everyone else with HepC, has to go through to get better.
Thanks Steven!

Dear Steven Tyler

We are admiring of your work that has many lovers in the whole world on account of your talent and the universality of the musical art. We cannot admit that an illness invisible has caught you of surprise in the life as well as in also caught them. We are a Not Governmental Organization that gives support to the carriers of Hepatitis C in the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil. We have in our group people with cirrhosis of the liver and to cancer of liver without knowing that they had the illness. If they knew, in time, they could have been prevented. The precocious detention with the test anti HCV can save human lives and we are always make it in Brazil as you can be seen in our site in the Internet: www.ctemquesaber.com.br Every year we make detention campaigns and its the only way people knowing that they has illness that can in time be cured, therefore 90% of the carriers nor imagine to possess hepatitis C because the illness not manifest symptom, not to be in its terminal phase. We are saving lives human beings daily. In Brazil 4 million contaminated exist and in the world 200 million, if becoming in the most serious quiet epidemic of the present time and one of that more bush in the world: 5 times more than AID's (HIV). We keep a center of treatment attended in a hospital its considered by its good references world-wide therefore has the biggest possibility of cure of the world, with world-wide scientific publication. It has 18 professional specialists in the treatment, with the maximum act to making human and thus we deal with gratuitously more than 3,000 carrier hepatitis C, also brightening up the subordinate effects of all they, with psychologists, specialized nutritionists and doctors. We do not leave to lack the remedy for treatment. We obtain remedy through the state and donations. Spreading campaigns do not exist and it is of the responsibility of the civil society, who passes for the problem, to make something of concrete to brighten up the suffering of the people. Brazil has a world-wide good qualifications in this treatment and if to want to get some information or same treatment, is to be able disposal assists it, in the biggest centers of good qualifications of Brazil that we keep partnership. For this new illness for science, information never is excessively. Finally we would like to make one I appeal or suggestion so that you could help this cause who we fight in Brazil and we request if its possible that it obtains to donate one of its guitars to exactly make an auction in the Internet or here in Brazil so that the resources can specifically add in the aid the people who pass for same the problems that we. If it would be possible, this fact, beyond helping people of Brazil will be able to have a repercussion in other countries, being able to divulge the cause still more, therefore the information is the biggest remedy for this badly. We would like to know of the possibility with Mr. to speak on this crucial question that needs men of the good urgently. In Brazil in few years it will have a millions of cirrhotic hepatics on account of hepatitis C and something has that to be made pair to brighten up this fact that is world-wide. Here there are 12 deaths to the day for the illness. We wait that it can be moved for the cause, and we desire that you has success in its treatment. We are the disposal for all information or what you need and it thinks with affection about the possibility the donation of a guitar therefore very would help thousand of people. Our contacts: NGO C HAS THAT TO KNOW C IT HAS THAT TO CURE. We are hosted in Sao Manuel, Sao Paulo, Brazil. President: Francisco Martucci, e-mail: contato@ctemquesaber.com.br Site: www.ctemquesaber.com.br Phone number (055) 21 14 3841 11 72 cellular (055)21 14 8111 19 34 Good health is a great asset. I made it through 48 weeks of this treatment and it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Personally, I don't think I could do it again.

Good luck to you that need it. It's worked for me so far and I'm a 1B.

Make sure you have a good doctor and a Hematologist working for you.

hi everyone,
I hope you all get better and will send light to you all. Say to yourself constantly Thankyou for my health. Conscious thought plants a seed in the subconscious mind which then produces an end result. So be aware of what you are thinking.Make it something good.

First, to "Skybird" down under, yet above me, there need to be more spirits like you around in this world of ours! "DREAM ON"!!! Maybe it will catch on!!! Mr.Tyler,my only son Marshall Tyler is named after you and a certain amplifier manufacturer out of respect, admiration, and I had a "music trader" in my hand when I was asked what we should name a boy! Your name popped up after Marshall due to you being #1 in my book in many catagories both professional, and, as a person. You are an inspiration to many, as so are your band mates. SOLIDITY through adversity is the word! I am glad to hear that you are out of the woods my friend. Many were pulling for you world wide! My son and I were among them. He is proud where his middle name came from, and wants a Marshall JCB rig with a Les Paul on top! Keep on keepin' on, Mr. Tyler, may the Gods be with you, your family, and the band. I will be seeing you in Tampa, Fort Myers, or Hollywood, when you decide to buzz thru again to South Florida! Thank you for all the great years of Aerosmith and the memories of concert events past!!! HI Connie, I recently completed 48 weeks of copegus for Hep C. So far lab work is showing that my viral load is less than negative. I'm told that is undetectable!! This was my forth time on these meds. First time I made it all the way. What a very long and hard ordeal to get through. I lost my job over this. I was pretty sick and effected in many ways. I'm
starting to feel much better in every passing week. Tough it out and get well.
Peace to you,
Cathy in N.C.

Because the government doesn't want public to panic and it does not want to have to pay for the thousand upon thousands of veterans that are infected and are being treated by the VA. There were supposed to be psa's (public service announcements) out in 2005 that never transpired. More and more people are being diagnosed as a result of exposure/infection by the medical community. Knowledge is power - fill yourself with knowledge about the disease - start a website - form a group - do things to push for advocacy yourself instead of waiting for someone else to do it for you!! That's what a lot of people are doing, including myself, in hopes to get the word out.
