Are you going to rebut any of his claims or just rely on the good old standby ad hominem attack.
If it is truly "bogus bile crap" it should be effortless for a superior intelect like you to refute.
It ain't worth my time to refute him. If I say the sky is blue he'll come up with some bogus crap that it ain't. And the funny thing - he'll believe it.

I'm not a smoker but, they banned smoking in public places, here, in the Garden State; that included all restaurants and bars. To make it a level playing field, they should've banned smoking in gambling casinos, as well, but the politicians wimped out. What else is new; no cajones, no spines.

There is no such thing as a "level playing field" Thas communist speak.. We strive on competition.. We need the upper hand on our competition. Having bars go smoking or non smoking based on their choice to conpete for business is the right way to go.. Not gov't regulation..

Does that mean that you think "whites only" bars are ok if the bar owner and all the customers want it that way?

So are you comparing smokers to a segmented group that should be protected? Or are you comparing a "smoking premitted" bar as IMMORAL as a "whites only" bar. Either way, where ever you are going with your agrument is just going to come out idiotic, so I reccomend you do what you will eventually do anyway.. switch gears with your circular arguments...

Your whole argument is that if a bar owner and his customers agree to run the bar how they see fit, they should be allowed to whether it harms others, themselves or not.

I guess that's not your argument anymore.

If you want me to be more politically correct, pretend it's a "men only" bar. Does that offend you less?

HUH? We were not talking about my argument.. talking baout yours... I do not believe in MEN only bar either.. Again.. I think disrimination is immoral. But just like the strip club, it may be filled with men only because of what they offer.(but some women go there anyway) Smoking bars will be filled with smokers(or non smokers who don;t care) Whats the problem with that? Oh and since You are on this thread too... I ask the same question as the other thread.. Name 3 people who have died from SHS

Just 3.. shouldn;t be hard..

You and others have argued that it's up to the owner and customers to decide on who is allowed in a bar, not the govt. That if they want to make a bar smoking only, they should be allowed.

Is is just amazing how ill second hand smoke makes everyone, not to mention eye watering and all that nasty stuff.
Don't you find it interesting that thirty years ago, no one was complaining of all these nasty problems. WHY?? Have cigarettes changed ? NO
Because ever so slowly the anti-smoking groups have changed public perception of smoking. Right or wrong, it has occured.
SO, everyone that is complaining, please stop it, your making me ill, and my eyes are watering because of being upset. Pretty soon they will be legislating your behavior, so as not to offend me.

Then why is it not ok for a bar owner and customers to decide who can come into the bar if they all agree?

It's nice how you are selective in your discrimination.

Japan has NO smoking restrictions and they have a higher life expetancy than the USA and Europe, where there are smoking laws.
Today it is 85 for women and 78 for men. Japanese women live, on average, more than five years longer than those in the United States. Japanese men have more than four years on those in America. The number of centenarians in Japan has doubled in the past five years, and now stands at just over 20,000.
AND one of every four people smoke in Japan.
In the USA today the life expectancy is 77 years olf

I could list 50 more reputable sites here.
I suppose I will see some lame post about someones 153 year old grandma that smoked 4 packs a day and never got cancer to refute this. HAHA
Many of us know that reports and studies that originate with funding by the RWJF are considered inaccurate. Grant money is to prove the goal.

Smokers are allowed into bars today. So your point is moot. Do you want the names of my relatives and friends that died from cigarette smoke?
