I know many smokers and NONE of them I've talked to agree to a tax increase of $10.00 per carton. Alcohol is harmful to one's health, i.e., cirrosis of the liver; not to mention alcohol related highway deaths, so is sunbathing that causes various skin cancers and fast foods that add to high cholesterol levels and heart disease, etc., etc. All the above increase health care costs too, so why single out, discriminate and impose more taxes against one select group of people?
