<quoted text>Sheri that is nice of you.A lot of people get rid of their pets if there's allergies involved. And on the smoking issue.....there really isn't one here anymore.Everywhere you go is smokefree here.
And I hear the Louisville music scene isn't what it was anymore either since the smoking ban.

Then again, I guess the Electric Slide works well enough for "art" for your kind.

You are absolutely nuts.
I have had people react to my pets immediately with allergies.

No, they didn't die.
And no one has ever died from SHS unless it was from a hissy fit.

I know they're being ridiculous.I would rather have my dog with me than a pack of cigarettes. My fog would probably save me from a fire, whereas cigarettes have been known to cause house fires.

And this came from someone who lost his so-called job playing in a dive to a disc jockey? Is that how it went?

Thanks for taking up for me and recognizing that it was a trick question, right off the bat. Smokers are pretty smart!

Nice clubs if you can find them.

Still closed last I heard.

Hmmm...40% of the people in the US die of cancer. Only 10% of the smokers even get lung cancer. What's missing here?

Suppose 70% of the liquor licenses disallow smoking, including all the national chains with liquor licenses in the community. Suppose that the other 30% of the liquor licenses allow smoking indoors. What if the latter establishments were required to post prominent signs at their entrances setting forth that secondhand smoke will be encountered.

Why would this type of licensing scheme be unacceptable to the Anti-Smokers, who could simply avoid entering the locations which are licensed to allow smoking?

Because they don't want the smokers to be able to smoke ANYWHERE, but they do think they should be allowed to enjoy themselves (smoke free) EVERYWHERE.

It is not about health or money. It's about feeling powerful that they can inflict their "rules" upon others.

For most true anti-smokers that's what it's really all about -- controlling other people's lives. It's the only thing they have that makes them feel 'powerful' because they get their way. It's sad.

Most people in managerial/leadership positions, even the non-smokers, think your suggestion is a great idea. There's a difference between NON-smokers and ANTI-smokers.

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aquarius

You're in a tricky position because someone who is supposed to know what they're talking about seems to be spouting complete nonsense instead. If this is an older friend or relative then you can simply smile politely and wait for them to rejoin the rest of us on Planet Earth. But if it's a boss or bureaucrat who's talking rubbish or giving you some puzzling orders, you'll be in a quandary about what to do.
