Proof is in these photos real photos of scars after his second eyelid operation. He stitched my eyes closed for several days hopping that the skin would stretch and stay tight for he removed too much skin on the first operation. Doctor Peter Wong and Ophthalmic Consultants Of Long Island.

This was sent tyo me by another Doctor. You must understand that many cases do not make it to the courts because Doctor rarely testify against another Doctor as well as if a Doctor recommends this type of surgery it is at your own risk. Well if someone like Doctor Peter Wong informed me he might make a mistake that i would suffer from I would have never said yes!

Sorry for your experience. Absolutely horrible job. I would sue.
I for one though disagree with the doctors you have seen after. I think it can be corrected. It will take lots of time and money but it is correctable. Good luck to you. You have to be careful whom you go to. There are some good plastic surgeons.

BTW, Dr. Wong isn't a plastic surgeon. He's just a Ophthalmologist. He only completed a fellowship in plastic surgery which could be even 3 months at some places. You must find a board certified cosmetic surgeon. He is not. He has been sued and rightly so in 2001.

I received several emails that tell me he is allowed to make mistakes? Doctor Peter Wong can be allowed to make mistakes are we kidding!! he performs surgery and fouls up and ruins my eyelids causing me much pain and suffering which i must live with for the rest of my life. He is not a Plastic Surgeon rather he is a Ophthalmologist period. He is a partner in Ophthalmic Consultants Of Long Island which proudly displays him on their website and the way it reads is meant to make it seem as if he is a board certified surgeon which he is not. Please help put an end to this Doctor peter Wong and Ophthalmic Consultants Of Long Island before they destroy or harm another patient who believes they can trust them.

I can not believe this guy is still practicing. Wow man he really jerked my cousin over and screwed his eyes big time. My cousin was sick from all this and started a lawsuit but he died and i know Dr Peter Wong and Ophthalmic Consultants Of Long Island know who he is. If anybody is wanting to know more reply here and I will mail you some pictures of his eyes. This place is bad news and this associate Dr. Peter Wong make no mistake is a butcher peps.

I'm really sorry to read about the situation you've been put in but I've had 2 very successful surgery's with Dr.Wong and I'm going for a 3rd in August to repair 1 lower lid which is drooping.

Well guess you were lucky or i was unlucky. But glad it worked well for you. I just wonder if you are aware that he is not a board certified surgeon and that is bad. He also was sued and settled out of court. My neighbor up the street told me her cousin had the same operation and the exact problems I have encountered. Have you seen what he has done to my eyes? look at the website I have created. Thank you for the good wish's and if I had it to do all over again I would have checked hi out fully and turned awa from him. I have had two doctors tell me the same thing look for a board certified surgeon and these were recent from my web site.

To former patient. Have you seen the photo's and the scars he created from stitching my eyes closed? He performed the second operation to correct the first where he removed far to much skin and tried to repair this damage. he truly was careless and ruined what years i have left in my life. He may have done good by you but far too many have been harmed by him. Mistakes not when it comes to being a surgeon or at least pretending you are one or a Doctor. Believe me if you were in my position you would certainly do more then post about him. How about when i bend over or pick up my granddaughter and the tears stop flowing faster. This is because my eyelids droop and the scars get tender as does my face causing the redness from irritation.So to be honest there is absolutely no telling me he is worth his salt as he has destroyed me. feel free to send me your email i will have my buddy take close ups which I need to do anyway and post them for all to see.

I'm not saying "he's worth his salt" but my outcome has been very different on 2 occasions and frankly I'm pleased with the results thus far.

I do empathize with the hardships you've come endure Richard. I'm sure I'd be slamming him also if my results were different.

I know of one out of court settlement and I have spoken to four others who have had his botched surgery. I fully understand you feelings as long as the results were good. But tell me I am the fifth one with surgical problems besides the out of court settlement is that odd. I actually have not searched for them more like we met by chance. My words are not lies first by looking at my photos the scars are more than visible and secondly look how they droop. I never believed in doing this but my life has become rotten and I miserable. Not trying to dump here but it would take plenty of dollars and time to try and correct the damage. Can anyone argue with the scars from his stitching my eyes closed? Besides the fact I have been to several allergists and dermatologists and they all say the problem has been with the operation. I am sixty-two years old now and have had this problem since the operation with Doctor Peter Wong. I had a quad bypass back in 1996 and i will show my no scars where they cut my chest open so it is not because I scar rather he fouled up big time. I was in St. Francis hospital back in 1996 and went to work after seven days and back to the gym in 45 days. Yet I am like useless in whatever i do for my eyes tear now at the slightest strain, wind and when I shower daily my back to the spray for my eyes no longer close together so water gets in when I face the spray and even when my back is turned. Just a horrible way to live. Trust me it could happen to you. Is Doctor Wong personable you bet and appears very intelligent did he make a mistake on me you bet.

Please look at his medical record. It will show you he is not a board certified surgeon. Surgeons go for specialized training Doctor Peter Wong is not a board Certified surgeon. If you review his education and medical history it will reveal what I have posted here.

Some people are really not aware of the dangers of a Doctor performing surgery on you. Will look at his medical history to start with see if he is qualified and not just a Doctor. NY law allows a Doctor to hang a sign up that allows him to be a surgeon! Too me that is not fair as many surgeons go for the extra training and become board certified. He Doctor Peter Wong is no more than a Ophthalmologist and he should state this on his website Ophthalmic Consultants Of Long Island and cards. If I was aware of this he would have never touched me. Some may think I was a fool and others could fall victim to him beware look at the scars he has left and damage he created. Just look and if oin doubt Doctor Peter Wong will have no problem with posting before and after photos he took.
